“It was our first time here and from the first look around you could tell it was going to be great. The decor and vibes are perfectly in line with the quality of the food. My beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and my wife said the swordfish was the best she ever had. After dinner we had a cocktail at the bar which was a scene all it's own. The staff were all friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely will be back and this is one of our new favorites in town!!“

The entire staff is welcoming, attentive, and kind. The environment is very hip and the music is always great. Kimber is an incredible mixologist. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! “We had 7 people. Made reservations 2 wks prior. Food was delicious. One person got chicken parm, specifically answered "no" when asked if she wanted noodles. The meal came with noodles under her chicken. Also, there was an issue with their check. Waitress never brought the slip that gets signed from using credit card. She insisted she gave it, didn't understand they needed the part the customer actually signs. Not sure what the issue was but waitress realized she never actually rang it up which is why they didn't get the slip. So those 2, although they did like the food, weren't real happy with the service. Waitress spoke in double time. So fast it was hard to understand what she was saying. Seemed kind of moody so not sure if it was just a bad day for her, or if she's always this way. But the food was delicious!“

“Hands down the best breakfast we have ever had. Seafood omelet and steel city breakfast delicious! Portions are large, had enough to bring some home. Husband had a banana split and said it it one of the best he’s eaten. Our waitress was so nice. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience! We will definitely return when in the area.“

“We went there as soon as we got into Pittsburgh. Such friendly staff. We had a couple drinks went back to our AirBNB changed and went back to Mitchell's for happy hour. They do not serve food except for lunch so we got a recommendation from bartender Tim so we headed out for supper. Stopped in again after supper and had a few more beers and shots. Played a game of giant Jenga with Tim. Very great place. met lots of friendly people.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“I do not recommend this place. My boyfriend and I sat at the bar last night and were never even acknowledged. We stayed for 10-15 and after no acknowledgement from the bartender or service we left.
