“I have been a Dairy Queen fan for probably 40+ years of my life. Started out as an occasional treat for my husband and I when we were first married in Hagerstown, MD. Over the years we’ve moved around with his job, and we’ve ended up retiring here in Mechanicsburg. We’ve been going to the Simpson St. Dairy Queen for over 24 years and I have to tell you, the people who work there are like family to us, especially to me since I am usually the customer. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and a kind word, even when they are BUSY! I have three grown daughters who all live far away and I miss them, but the girls here are like daughters to me. Today, on the day before Mother’s Day, when I was feeling a little down because I couldn’t be with my own daughters, I was given a special treat that MADE MY DAY! In a world where we are struggling with a virus, and we read of so much suffering, it is a blessing to know that there are loving people who care for others that they only know from serving them! “They are very good but the price is very expensive. I bought that box of 4 cookies and they were like $25 dollars. I chose one of Chocolate and chips, Waffle with syrup my favorite, chocolate with strawberries and Lemon. I thought I wouldn't like the lemon cookie but it was really delicious. They are quite big!“
