“First off, if you’re on a budget and looking to escape the heat wave, listen up. They’re the only place in the area with snowballs (shaved ice in a styrofoam dish). And they start at like $2.75. The kids size is like a small. The small is like a medium, and so on. They have a 50 cent Elvis Presley theme pinball machine. For a quarter, a child under 100 pounds can ride Sandy the horse (an antique ride). They have Hello Kitty coloring pages and crayons. The service there is excellent. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience, and I wish more people knew about this place. It’s right next to the West Shore Theatre on Bridge Street. If you’re looking for a cost-effective and family-friendly place to hang out, their air conditioning is fantastic too.“

The product is superb & they let you mix flavorz to customize your ice cream..
I forgot to mention that their waffle cones and bowls are made on site & can be smelled from yards away.
When you lean into the window there is no smell of sour milk either.

“Excellent! They have the best custard known to man! And their variety of Italian ice flavors are wonderful! Still have many of the original flavors we've grown to love plus many other mixes of custard, Italian ice, frappes, lemonade, and more. It's been my favorite gelati joint for over 10 years.
Parking: There are about 5 parking spots in front of the shop, however in the summertime they are always full. In the Lemoyne location, there is a Dollar General next door that allow customers to park and walk a few feet to the shop.
Kid-friendliness: There are a few picnic benches where many families sit with children and doggies too!
Wheelchair accessibility: It's all one level so yes it is wheelchair accessible.“

“We were excited to visit this highly rated Coffee Shop for the first time. When we arrived from out of town we were unable to find accessible parking. There were steps up to the entrance which also made it complicated for our 2 wheelchair guests. The place looks so unique & cool, so I’ll definitely return to scope it out on my own to see if I can come back with my physically disabled guests.“

“What an awesome place we will definitely be back the young lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful my daughter was able to try some ice cream to make her decision the ice cream was incredibly good actually I was very impressed I had mine on a waffle cone which had really great texture and flavor I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area“

“I would like to personally write a review on Evan, one of the best employees I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. Evan is a spectacular worker and is always so friendly. He cracks me and my husband up always! He has a positive attitude and he is a hard worker. We always enjoy getting some ice cream during shopping and he makes the experience ever so much better. “These guys snagged me as a customer when I was 38 weeks pregnant and I haven't been able to stop going back since. Be aware, if you sign up for the texts, they have exclusive pre order flavors every few weeks and they get me every time. They also do a monthly flavor line up so there's always something new to try !“

“Visited Cold Stone Creamery in Mechanicsburg recently and had a really good experience. The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and the mix-ins were blended perfectly. Staff was friendly and patient while taking the order, and the place had a nice atmosphere. Loved the variety of flavors and toppings available. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving desserts or ice cream with friends and family. Will be visiting again soon!“

“I have been a Dairy Queen fan for probably 40+ years of my life. Started out as an occasional treat for my husband and I when we were first married in Hagerstown, MD. Over the years we’ve moved around with his job, and we’ve ended up retiring here in Mechanicsburg. We’ve been going to the Simpson St. Dairy Queen for over 24 years and I have to tell you, the people who work there are like family to us, especially to me since I am usually the customer. They are always ready to serve you with a smile and a kind word, even when they are BUSY! I have three grown daughters who all live far away and I miss them, but the girls here are like daughters to me. Today, on the day before Mother’s Day, when I was feeling a little down because I couldn’t be with my own daughters, I was given a special treat that MADE MY DAY! In a world where we are struggling with a virus, and we read of so much suffering, it is a blessing to know that there are loving people who care for others that they only know from serving them! If you’ve never been here you need to go, not only for the delicious ice cream, but for the family-friendly atmosphere and service! Wendy R.“

“Due to the fact that I am lactose intolerant, I cannot eat ice cream
But they sell pretzels with a dipping sauce that are awesome
I go in there regularly just for the pretzels they taste so good. I do recommend you go try them.“

“I am happy this Dairy Queen is open during the winter months. I hope they will continue to do so. The ice cream is superb and the atmosphere is family friendly. I am an out-of-towner and wish the Dairy Queen outlets in my area were like this one. GREAT PLACE TO VISIT!“
