“I had a very disappointing experience at Media's Towne House this past weekend. During a private party I attended, my husband was unfairly flagged by the staff without any clear explanation or warning. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially considering the event was private and meant to be a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I expected better treatment and transparency from a business that hosts events. This incident has definitely made me reconsider ever returning in the future.“

Even though it was close to closing time, everyone was extremely welcoming and the couple pints that we got were exactly what we needed with just the right amount of haze. “Let me start I did read all the bad reviews before heading over there so I didn’t have great expectations.However as a cheapskate and a craft beer lover especially searching for my lessor common styles of beer, I typically go by each bar and restaurant in airport and scan QR code to see beer selection and check pricing.Most places here in Philadelphia Airport straight rip off at 16 per pint, but when you want a beer you’re stuck. Anyway when I first approached the counter I was absolutely expecting to be poked since they didn’t show prices only beer menu.Luckily they had something for me that I was going to purchase regardless, A nice strong Golden at 8%.I was then blown away upon seeing I got a 20oz, normally higher ABV beers are served in smaller 12oz glasses. Any full pour of 20oz was only 10 bucks and I was expecting at least 20, left me room in budget to not only get 2nd beer plus a pretty solid hotdog and chips.Biggest plus was Connor the bar tender, was super cool and attentive, and then informed me I was safe to take my cup and walk back to my terminal, since I walked a fair distance just to check out all beer options.Lastly, unlike most other restaurants In airport it’s kind of obvious if your paying attention that their section is not owned and maintained by airport, as most restaurants have tables and chairs with chargers that kind of blend from restaurants into gates, so I kinda understand their right to ask people to patronize their business or ask them to leave, I was lucky to find a spot at the bar.Not excusing anyone ever treated rudely, and definitely not my experience.“

“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

I have to say the dishes were not as tasty as you get it IN Taiwan, but I think if you’ve never eaten it in Taiwan you’d probably be quite happy with it! It still satisfied my craving to an extent, and would definitely order again because there aren’t many Taiwanese restaurants to choose from, but for Taiwan locals it might not meet your standards!“

“Instead of paying for a round trip Uber we decided to eat at the 1643 lounge at the Delta Hotel. The omelette we ordered was huge, but a bit overcooked, and the breakfast potatoes were really not that fresh (maybe sitting under the warmer too long). However, it did fill us until later in the day. I would suggest not cooking the omelette so long. I assumed that cheese came on the omelette, and if it was there, I couldn’t find it. I would try this place again, if ever in the area. We loved the atmosphere of this place and our server was accommodating.“

“What an interesting place ! I was initially greeted by the ritual greeting of ' let me see if a table is available " . After a slight wait my party of 4 was seated at a booth with a window view. I must admit I was amazed the first time the express train silently flew by. I ordered the Steak and shared the grilled octopus with my husband. The food was excellent, and my server was very pleasant. It was a very cold night however I found the environment very warm and accommodating as our party enjoyed a fabulous bottle of red wine . Our experience overall was quite good and look forward to a Friday happy hour visit !“
