“This is my first time getting food from there and I was pleasantly shocked. The shrimp dumplings w/dipping sauce was delicious and the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice was so fresh and tasty.

“This is my favorite vegetarian spot around Philadelphia. They were takeout only during the years of the pandemic. I frequented it a lot before 2020. I have been a patron for over 10 years. Beautiful atmosphere with tablecloths and linen napkins. I went for my 75th birthday recently. It was everything I remembered and more. My 92 year old father and his wife accompanied me. He had the ribs. He is not a vegetarian. They were tender and favorable enough for him to enjoy. Next week I will be going again for another belated birthday lunch. The only place I eat out these days. Portions are plentiful. They are enough to take home for a second meal not a snack. Drove all the way from center city Philadelphia. About a 40 minute drive. Well worth the time and effort.“

“Made reservations at 7pm at loch bar for my sister’s birthday. I got there first and since my sister was a few minutes away, the host couldn’t seat me without her. My sister arrived at 7:05pm and the host informed us that it was busy therefore we would have to wait at the bar until there is a table available. I’m not sure what is the point of a reservation, if you won’t be seated right away. The bartender was really nice and welcoming. 20 minutes later, there was an open table. The appetizers were delicious especially the mussels!!!! The caviar and potato skin were sooo good as well. The oysters were fresh & cold just how I like it. I ordered shots of clase azul for my sister’s bday and we decided to do a bump of caviar & a shot of clase azul. It was a great combo! Thank me later.“

The service was great, the staff were kind and courteous and helped us order and decide how much to order.

“This might be one of the best ayce hot pot places I’ve been to!

You place your orders for meat via an iPad and all other foods (vegetables/fish balls/tofu etc) are self serve like a buffet. The meat comes out quickly and is good quality. The servers are very attentive and do a great job of taking away empty plates and replacing napkins. There are also some prepared foods, fruits, and desserts at the self serve station, as well as a full sauce bar. Drinks are located in the fridge (non alcoholic) and self serve, and are the classic Asian drinks like milk tea, aloe drink, and soy milk.

All tables have one large burner/one pot, so I wouldn’t recommend coming with a part of more than 4-5 people“

“We've been enjoying home delivery from Lau Kee for many years. Yesterday we dined-in at their small yet busy Philly Chinatown location for the first time. Their food is excellent from delivery. It's even better right out of the kitchen. Unpretentious, with quick, responsive service.“

“Uniquely seasoned food served promptly and pleasantly. Outdoor seating is available in a private booth design that's very 'public' since it's on the sidewalk. The interior design is remincent of authentic Chinese culture with wooden dragons carved in the wall. You can sit at the bar or sit in the main dining area. The culinary delights are streamed, gluten free or lightly fried. The chilli sauce/oil is a nice surprise it's fragrant with a hint of perfume of anise, cardamom and clove, amongst other herbs,all smothered in oils and Sichuan pepper. “My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.“

“This is our go to Chinese restaurant! The first and only that we really love around here! It’s a 20 min walk from us and in hot weather it feels longer, but it’s ALWAYS worth it! They’re so nice, the food is awesome, fair prices, and our order is always right! Their cheese pizza rolls are so good! Which are a nice treat when you want pizza and Chinese lol.
