“*Edit*I gave this place a 2nd chance, and glad I did. My wife got chicken planks and fries, while I got the fried pierogies. A complete 180 from our last visit! Very happy with our food, and the bartender has been great! Will be coming back Took forever to get service, and when we finally ordered food, it took over an hour to get it. Once it finally came out, it couldn't even be eaten. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, was the bartender apologized and took the food off of our tab.“

“Good atmosphere. The Primantis branding is alive and well with a character mural of local notables. Chodsky's of Pittsburgh history, landmarks are everywhere to be seen. Good sized medium Bar appx. 20 seats to be seen at the bar. The front of the place opens up with a garage front, but the privacy curtain is nice & keeps the glare off the big screens with the local games on. Tall tables encircle the bar area, where'as booths line the main walkway in towards the kitchen. Good prices for domestic beers & specials. Decent Draft selection featuring some season brews. Happy hour specials are in effect as well. Food was quick, hot and accurate. As with any Primantis, the portions are exceptional. I got some takeout and the box for the sandwich was smaller than the fries. I thought that should be switched out, size wise but the design was cool. Gotta make due with the branding/design. Not a bad spot for a strip mall bar/restaurant. Some games of chance up front if you want to try your luck.“

“When you eat at a restaurant many times, because the food is very good, service is top notch and you leave with a full stomach and a smile, “it's stupid good!” Bob is our server, and he is very knowledgeable about everything going on, and he's our favorite. Now to our classy and charming Reed, every ‘restaurant, retailer, whatever business you're in, should have “a” Reed. Reed is nice, happy, excited, and makes time for the customers. And not last, food is very good.“

“I do love a good diner and this is very certainly one of them. When the food brings you back to your childhood memories — that’s culinary art at its finest.

Absolute gem of a place, lovely staff, and friendly diners around you. The food is unpretentious, simple, fresh, and perfect. Gave me comfort I really needed.

(Even if I am criminal for ordering meatloaf dinner at breakfast 😎)

“Always number one!! The people there are so kind. Recently I went there to meet a group of friends and couldn’t navigate the steps on a mobility scooter. Alex, Jodi and a group of workers immediately took over helping me walk 3 steps while others picked up my scooter and carried it!! It still warms my heart. The food was excellent and service was excellent. Atmosphere has always been classy and welcoming!“

“The rib on the wrap was so freaking good!!! They didn't advise it, but I was happy I stuck with it. I'm not a fan of big sandwiches, so the wrap was just fitting. The fries I will never order again. They didn't taste like fries. They were overcooked and hard. There was no potato in the middle and I hate when fries are made like that. My waiter was a doll. The bar is very nice. None of this review is reflective of anyone in there specifically. Simply the food.“

“I love this place! Good food and I occasionally get a drink with my late Sunday breakfast. They had mimosas for Mother’s Day but I didn’t indulge. Their pancakes are really good and huge. I will occasionally get the big breakfast so I can share a pancake with my husband and daughter. It’s delicious!“

“we were here this evening 2-15-2025 for our 20 year anniversary. we had our reception here so long ago. we were heart broken when it burnt down then remodeled an we didn't go back but today we did an OMG so glad we did the scenery a tad different, the food was amazing very very good an hit just the right spot. The highlight was our server Belle she was so sweet, an kind her suggestions were spot on an she just made the night even more magical. It's lacking an image a bit but the food and super kind and helpful staff makes up for it. I will dream about the shloaded fries! Splitting hairs - the beet salad could use more goat cheese and maybe some micro greens and wings needed maybe 30 seconds more in the fryer but the flavors were on point!“
