“Love the food. Had the chicken Parmesan half hoagie last night with fries. I get a side of their hot sauce to dip my fries in. It is very spicy and most people probably can’t handle it but it is one of my favorite sauces and I always get it for tenders or fries.

Bri is the best bartender, Gwyn is a close 2nd and the owners are so friendly. Love it!“

When I walk into a space, I come with kindness, respect, and the intention to simply enjoy good company and a welcoming atmosphere. Recently, I’ve experienced a shift in service that left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. Respect should never depend on how often someone visits, who they are, or what they look like — professionalism is the standard, not the exception. As patrons, we notice the small things — tone, body language, and how we are treated when we walk through the door. Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. Because you never know who is sitting in your seats, and you never know who is quietly witnessing the level of professionalism being offered. Respect is remembered. Kindness is remembered. And so is the absence of both. let me add the food is delicious. I have no other reservations but for the one barmaid jess was my barmaid. February 7th time is 1:46 p.m.“

“Yesterday was the first time we tried this restaurant & we were so happy we did. They launched their new menu & everything was great. The Mozzarella appetizer was done perfectly. We tried the Hot Honey Pizza & the Bruschetta Bowl with a side salad. All of it was terrific. Our server was extremely attentive too. Couldn’t have had a better experience. We’ll go back for sure!“

“My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

“We were a family of 10 and we came while it was not busy, they sat us immediately our server was great! I think his name was Shaine or something . But he was very attentive and understanding . Our food was great! First time here and definitely will return . Reasonably priced as well“

“The staff (manager Dwayne and server Heather) were great and went above and beyond. The only dim part was when first being seated. I asked for a booth and the server with the red hair took us to the bench/table. She asked if it was ok I said no that I had asked for a booth and she made a face and then moved us to a booth.

Vegetarian options: The staff is willing to substitute a veggie burger when asked. There are other items that can have items taken out as needed.“

“A little biased here, but my father built LaBarbe’s back in the late 1920’s. It’s gone through changes over the years however, it still remains a wonderful place and still has the great food and great owners. I’m headed back to eat there today (8/6).“

“I came in at 6:00pm on 12/23/25 and ordered two sandwiches for takeout the hostess told me it would be about 10 minutes for my order. I waited 30 minutes and still my order wasn’t ready I asked a different person about my order and they said that it’s take some time because they are busy. My thing is why didn’t the hostess just be honest and say there’s an hour wait for takeout. I’m Very disappointed with the dishonesty and the lack of communication from the hostess. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for TWO SANDWICHES. THATS RIDICULOUS ON ANY LEVEL“

“On the evening of Jan 7, 2025 we were hungry travelers coming through Pittsburg on our way home. We headed to chipotle when we saw this little sub station. So happy we stopped here instead! The food was DELICIOUS and the service just as great. The young men greeted us enthusiastically and took good care to make us super tasty subs! The place is clean and fun. We 💯 recommend! The bread is unique but amazing.. soft and chewy on this inside and crispy on the outside- holds all the goodies inside. We could taste every single ingredient - not just a bread sandwich. Good check em out! And thanks to the 3 gentlemen working last night!“

“I was at the Bob Evans in Monroeville on Thanksgiving Day. Waited over 2 hours to get a pick up that was ordered days before. Take out orders were left out in bags on tables for hours. People were furious! one man & a waitress got into a big verbal fight. Swearing at each other. I developed covid symptoms 2 days after being there. Just saying to many people in a small are it not appropriate. I would never recommend going there or picking up food on a holiday.“
