“It’s a very tiny coffee shop, but they probably have my favourite drink in all of pittsburgh. Their almond torte coffee is to die for, and I still think of it to this day. It is creamy and delicious, and the form on top itself is magical. I would have it every day if I could. The space itself is quite intimate and communal. There is very limited seating, so you might have to share your table with somebody else in a communal sort of set up. There are lots of games on Offer and I saw couple families playing board games. This cafe actively discourage you from using laptops and working from there. So if you are planning to work, this might not be the place for you. But if you’re planning to come here and enjoy a delicious coffee along with your favourite book, you are in the right place. I would avoid their pastries. It was just meh.“

“My fiancee and I got our cat Onyxia 2 years ago from the Black Cat Market and she fits into our family like she has always been there. When you come into the Black Cat Market, you can tell the care and consideration that is taken into every animal. The space is adorable and they have so many other vendors too! Cat wine, cat toys, cat-themed stickers, etc. Their rules are reasonable and straightforward. I love it there!“

“I often work remotely from my laptop, and this shop has always been my go-to after moving to the Southside in 2020. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and the baristas are extra attentive and caring. I love this spot so much so that after two years of being a "regular" I started working here part time. As a customer turned employee, I can honestly say that being behind the counter is just as amazing as my experience from the other side of the bar. Lavinia puts so much heart into every detail and cares deeply about fostering a sense of community within the shop (for both employees and customers). I recommend Delanie's to everyone in hopes of it becoming their favorite spot too!“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Absolutely delicious matcha drinks with mixologist skill, lovely service, and excellent baked goods: cookies, miso-sesame biscuits are a must try! My gf and I are regulars here. We think it’s the best matcha house in Pittsburgh.

Besides the drinks and baked goods, they offer blended matcha powders for at-home as well as tasteful tea-mixing accoutrement. We’ve enjoyed making teas at home, but there’s nothing like coming in.

We haven’t tried their soft-serve yet but are excited to!

“Incredible meal, outstanding service, cool vibe. Scallops were fresh, perfectly cooked chicken, and the best Panna cotta I've ever had. I asked the server for pairings and they were all perfect. First time having a Pinela and loved it. I wish I was there with someone to try more. It was a last minute decision to eat here and really only stumbled upon it. So glad I found it! Definitely worth a visit. Make a reservation or get there when they open to sit at the bar.“

I love Espresso A Mano and will keep coming back. I don't know the barista's name but he had dark hair and I came in around 11:30am today (Wednesday). “Been in Oakland for a few years and Sidecar is my go-to cafe for myself and to meet up with friends. The food is phenomenal, their baked goods are perfection, and the drinks are delicious. Special shout out to the barista Em for making some of the best coffees I’ve ever had and always having great drink recommendations and such cheerful, professional customer service. The entire place is decorated so cutely with their signature mugs and wall art (please start selling the mugs!) and their iconic mirror wall. I recommend Sidecar whenever a friend mentions they want to get coffee, and I always recommend the Pittsburgh Smog tea and cinnamon rolls.“

“Potomac station is a great little corner coffee shop. The coffee is made properly and the pastries and paninis are made there. Try the Mayan Mocha and the pumpkin cinnamon rolls. I highly recommend it. Andrew runs a tight ship.

“This is an awesome place to get boba! It’s definitely quite far from my usual takeout places, but definitely worth the drive every once in a while. It’s locally owned and the prices are some of the best around. I decided to try out their pineapple milk tea.

The drink was very tasty and refreshing. It’s got that hint of creaminess from the milk, but still tastes quite light. The portion is fantastic; much larger than most places. The pineapple flavor really shines through, too. Quite sweet. And, the bobs is very fresh. They have several options for pearls, but the classic definitely hits the spot.

All in all, I really liked this place. It’s one of the best boba shops I’ve tried in a while. Definitely recommend the milk teas.

“This is my partner and I's favorite coffee shop in all of Pittsburgh. Every drink I've ordered has been delicious, and their breakfast burrito is amazing as well. Never a miss with this place. The baristas are friendly and efficient, and the owner is a great guy - friend of my partner. The atmosphere is unlike any other in the city, eclectic and maximalist, yet very cozy. There's a reason that every time we go most of the tables, indoor and outdoor, are filled up! I've recommended this place to countless people, and will continue to do so. We probably come here at least once a week, and are always looking for excuses to stop by and get a tasty drink.
