“KING OF SWEET SAUCE. I am working in Mahoning Town and have been on a pizza tour of New Castle. Pizza Man in my opinion has the best Homestyle pizza which is a pizza with only a sprinkle of parm and oregano. New castle is all about sweet sauce which now I love. I would say that Pizza Man is the “king of sauce”. It tastes the best and they give you lots of it. You have to eat their pizza with a napkin or even better a washcloth. Delicious. Also the service at Pizza Man was really good. A warm hometown feel. If you want speed metal and tasty grease go to Turcos. But if you want grammas kitchen and sauce red cheeks go to Pizza Man.“

“I was just passing through town and honestly didn’t expect to find a spot like this. Seeing a big Southern Italian last name on the sign immediately caught my attention, so I had to stop in, and I’m glad I did.
This is a genuinely authentic Italian-American place with that warm feel that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. I ordered a capocollo-ham sandwich with provolone, lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing. Fresh ingredients, well made, and very satisfying. I also tried the garlic knots, something I always judge Italian places by, and they were very good. Fresh, soft, and flavorful. If I had one tiny suggestion, I’d say a little extra garlic wouldn’t hurt, but that’s just personal preference.
The spinach stromboli was excellent. Fresh, clearly house made dough, and exactly what you hope for. I finished with cannoli, and they were absolutely on point. Small, authentic, and delicious.
I also loved that they had all the little extras that make a place feel real. Cookies, jars of pickled garlic and peppers. specialty items, packaged pasta to take home. The whole atmosphere just felt welcoming and genuine.
A really pleasant surprise in a town where I wasn’t expecting much. Definitely worth stopping if you appreciate authentic Italian-American food.
One fun suggestion: add a Nutella stromboli to the menu. If you do, naming it “The Stefano” would only be fair. 😄“

The guests just raved about all the wonderful food - and the catering staff and bartenders went above and beyond to make sure it was a perfect day! I thank them all so much for everything. “Pizza Joe's has the best pepperoni rolls you can find in town. Mangino's has a good pepperoni roll, but pizza Joe's is far better. I don't prefer the pizza though. They use high quality ingredients, but I just don't enjoy the sauce. It tastes over-seasoned to me. Give their pizza a shot though. The veggie pizza is noteworthy.“

“I love their food, it's the best but I'll never purchase any of their fountain drinks. Twice I've purchased drinks and debris of some sort was in my drinking cup. I think that the lines aren't cleaned of flushed on a regular basis. Should you get a fountain drink, open the lid and check for debris.“

After we dunk the bread in French or Catalina dressing or feed it to our dog Grover Cleveland name him after the pres. I would eat sauce if they sold in stores with a spoon... good stuff nuff said“
“toppings were left off and Stromboli came with the smallest amount of filling I've ever seen...6 pepperoni..literally I could count them..on a lg deluxe Stromboli...never ever again..I've never thrown away so much food in my life...0 stars not 4 stars 🤢🤮“
