“My second time at the establishment and it was just as excellent as my first. For me, hands down the best Manhattan in Philadelphia. And it was as good as my first.

I only ate French fries at my first visit having brunched earlier in Manayunk and they also were just as delicious. The Taphouse bacon burger was divine. Just the best mix of crispy edges, gooey cheese, fresh & delicious tomatoes (rare for January in the NE! ) and possibly a common , happy problem to have, SO much food. I enjoyed every bite & sip & our server for a fair sized group of more than 15 was friendly, efficient and very well organized.“

“I use to play pool when I was younger. It was great times. Since they took the tables out im only in there 2x a year. Service still good, Greg the bar tender is awsome, food is bar food and nothing really omg special but plentiful and good prices. Ross plumbing had there Christmas party there, had a good time. “Ripplewood Whiskey REALLY impressed me. The food is not only creative and unique - it’s insanely delicious. I ordered their take on fish & chips: sesame-crusted cod with a miso caramel glaze, paired with garlic creamed kale (I never realized kale could taste this good) and purple sweet potatoes. It’s the kind of dish where everything just makes sense together and I legitimately can't stop thinking about it.

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“Came here on on a Thursday and my day was going horrible until I had dinner here. The food was okay the wings were good but the chicken in the salad was questionable. The highlight of my dinner was my server Tyanna and the manager my server was full of smiles and had the best attitude I’ve seen at a restaurant so far and the manager was nice enough to accommodate my meal because of my salad. “I come here fairly regularly with my running group. This a great neighborhood bar, the owner is awesome and super friendly. The food is also better than you'd expect for a dive bar, but it still has the dive bar charm. This is easily my favorite bar up the hill in Manayunk“

“We recently hosted a surprise party at the 1750 Grill inside the Holiday Inn Kulpsville, and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was extremely responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. They were flexible with everything we needed and even helped come up with solutions so the event could run exactly the way we envisioned.

One of the things we appreciated most was how they allowed us to use the room freely as long as we took care of it. They really let us “do our thing,” which made the setup and overall flow of the party so much easier and more enjoyable.

The space itself was perfect — private, with doors we could close so the event felt intimate and just for our group. Their pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and the quality of the venue.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely recommend the 1750 Grill for anyone looking to host an event. The combination of flexibility, great service, and a private, comfortable space made our surprise party a success!“

“If you are looking for a local divey bar this is it. Bartender was pleasant. There was a dart game in progress on the night we came. We were too late to order food but behind the bar and bar top seemed pretty clean. The booths near front entrance also looked recently re done. Even though we are not from the area- the regulars were welcoming.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“
