“Big portions, home cooked food. We go once every few months and I've never had a meal I didn't like. The French onion soup and the pecan balls are my favorites. Their pizza crust is probably the only thing I avoid; it's not bad, but it's not good.“

The sauce is savory and delightfully not sweet, which is a massive win in our book. Pair that with a crust that has an actual, honest-to-goodness crunch, and you have a perfect pie. “I have been going to this place since I was a kid. After a visit to Kennywood we would always go for pizza here. The original owners we some of the nicest people I had met over the years and their daughter is carrying on the tradition . She always greets everyone with a smile and is super friendly :) My family and I love their square pizza and usually asked for it to be baked alittle longer for extra crunchiness. My 6 yr old grandson loves their pizza and always ask for it when he a over . The sauce and cheese is always the right amount, the pepperoni is yummy too !!! All around every visit here is always a positive experience 🍕😋🇮🇹“

“Look, this is basically the better end of fast food pizza. They have the traditional ceramic 1000 degree ovens and one guy on shift (I assume because it wasn't Fri ir Sat night) doing his absolute best. It's a tiny little shop with no seats tucked into a corner of the Golden Mile.

But the dough was excellent, the pizza perfectly cooked and the guy was nice as he!! on the phone and in person.

The cheese is above average, the toppings just enough and they have a deal for orders over $25 that get a free 2L if you pay cash. Get some extra toppings and drink.

But good golly the parking, lol. Easily a 35degree grade in the closest spots, make sure your parking brake is in order or use the other set of spaces that don't require a sherpa.
Heaven help you if you want to head north after getting your pie.They may even have a sign telling you not to turn left, but who can be bothered?

I'm a pizza snob, but this is solid local that stops far enough short of mass market that I recommend.
