“Service is always terrible when you get take-out. I ordered a fish sandwich, waited 45 min.before I asked where my order was, I gave them my name when I ordered. Nobody called my name when food was done. It was sitting there for I don't know how long. Asked why nobody told me, wait-staff said it wasn't her fault. Happens all the time when I order to go.While waiting for order I sat at the bar for over 30 minutes, never approached by bar-maid to see if I wanted a drink. Horrible service all around. Might not return, even though I enjoy their food.“
“Was very disappointed in the meat lover's Flatbread. It tasted like tomato paste for the sauce and the meat has no flavor. It was plain. I suggest to anyone don't get it. My fiancée had thier Italian hoagie which he felt bad and gave me half of his sandwich to eat. The bartender did ask if I liked it. I did let him know about the pizza not being too good. He just looked and didn't say anything and walked away. I'll still come here. But that flat bread has to go. I don't even see how that one is on the menu! Everything else so far I tasted from there is good.“
“Highly recommended!!!! The super, fresh and crispy fish and chips would be enough for 5 stars. But there was also the excellent service, the delightful and caring owner and the atmosphere in this historic restored stone house. We sat by the fireplace which was also something special.“
“This is one of those places where absolutely everything on the menu is delicious. In my opinion, the best wings in Pittsburgh! You must try the Candy Pepper ? . Be aware, this is a smoking establishment, so, if that bothers you... Other highlights are the Butter Steak and the loaded fries! Yummmmmmm!Parking: Parking is on street, but this is just above a small park area with plenty of spots since no houses.Kid-friendliness: Not Kid friendly. 21+“
“So, I wish I could give the Loft, specifically, seven or eight stars. Great environment, great bartenders (Paul is just the nicest guy in the world, honestly). A great karaoke night every Monday. And I actually came here to say this: someone stole a six pack of beer I had bought, and ERIN, the gm, just insisted on replacing it, even though it had nothing to do with their establishment. I thought that was incredibly cool, and I think this place, mgmt and bartenders, will take care of you no matter what.“
“The Bulldog is an all around lovely experience. The food- absolte 10/10. Staff 10/10. Drinks 10/10. I'd like to keep this a secret but it's too good to not share. Not to mention, the owner is a gem and deserves every bit of the business.“
“Reserved deck area for a meeting/working dinner. Meal was very enjoyable. So much more I want to try on the menu, so will go back. Not the best meeting space, though. Lots of noise echo and not all of the wall plugs were working for chargers. But that won't keep me from eating there again. Food was delish!!“

“I’m traveling from Oregon and stopped by for drinks and food. This is an amazing establish. Reviews don’t do justice. Highly highly recommend stopping by for a quick sip and bite. Everyone was really kind to me. As a solo traveler I wasn’t sure what I would get into. I got a simple shrimp in the basket and it was SO GOOD. Omg. I can go on and on about Squirrel Hill Cafe. From Oregon to Pittsburgh, put this one on your list to check out“
“Was there for a private party of nineteen people. Had the back room.Had the two piece fried cod with fries and salad. The cod was cooked perfectly and the fries were good. Wife had broiled cod with haluski..both were excellent.The server was also excellent. One server for the party. She was on the ball and never had to wait for a beverage refill. The only negative would be only one pasta on the menu.Would definitely recommend and will return.“
“Our first time here and it was great! A really fantastic beer selection, for starters. The food was so much better quality than the average restaurant/pub. Comfort food can sometimes be so basic and generic but the food here was REALLY impressive, fresh, perfectly seasoned and tasty. We'd go back in a second if we didn't live so far. Oh and the service was really good! Friendly and attentive.“
“I've only been her twice for lent fish sandwiches so I can't rate anything else. Talk good meal. Crisp fries and a nice piece of fish. Not overly greasy. The staff was really nice. The dining room is unassuming but bright and clean. I'm interested to try other food here.“

“Burgers were outstanding! Juicy and cooked exactly as requested. I had the Yinzer with an egg on top. Friendly, helpful server was eager to customize the burger however you want. Fries were great too. Large selection of tap and bottled beers.Parking: Good number of free off street parking spots.“
“Wow. Just wow.I saw this place by accident while looking on maps. I was really interested in the menu and made the trip into the area just to stop by here. I couldn’t have been happier.The ambiance of the entire place is beautiful. Gold everywhere.I ordered so many things off the menu and I was so happy with each one. The pretzel? Astounding. Smash burger? Off the charts. Pizza? I couldn’t stop eating it. Their brews? Perfect.Highly recommend stopping by here and checking the place out. For a bite or for a brew. “This is the only bar open in port vue...It's a great place to be for a local watering hole..Lots of entertainment, they have darts&league,if you want to join...8ft.pool table& and a couple of machines& occasion ly have a D.J. They have daily specials on food&beverages...The owners are friendly&socialable, the bartenders are fun& friendly..That's why i love this bar!!!“
“Tonight was my first time going to this place for a meal. Every time I drive by there, I'm usually running errands on my days off off which are Saturday and Sunday and they're always busy. Well I made up my mind to go there for dinner tonight after work and I now know why they're always busy! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The service, the food presentation, the quality of the food preparation, the cleanliness of the establishment and the level of exceptional, true TEAMWORK that I witnessed from staff was just an amazing and very pleasant dining experience. I've never been there before, so I'm not positive, but I believe that the gentleman I saw busing tables and seating new customers was the owner? I love seeing people who love doing what they do in their work because they do it so much from the heart and it makes all the difference in the customer service experience for anyone who walks through that door. They have a motto there. It's something like "no bad seat in the house". And that's so true because no matter where you sit you are just as important to the folks serving you as any other person who walks through that door. I will most definitely be a repeat customer. They have a very nice variety of menu items and I want to try a lot of them. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience to all who serve there! ?“
