“Went in on a crowded, busy night, but the bartenders were immediately responsive and friendly still. They have a wide variety of drinks, and all four that two of us tried were really memorable and unique. For sure a place to return to and try the whole menu“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

“Their Sunday brunch is amazing! Food is delicious and they offer a great menu. I recommend pairing it with some fun drinks and great friends. They also serve awesome drinks like mudslides, banana monkey, or dirty monkey, and some good fruity drinks, do not hesitate to name your favorite, or don't be afraid to try something new. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Servers are always great and pleasant from my experiences as well! Street parking only but it's free. It also may look like a "hole in the wall" before going inside but it's far from that. It's recently renovated and has a modern but classic bar feel and look. Just don't judge a book by it's cover on this place.

“Prices are terrific, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect out of a tavern, with a bonus from some potted plants.

The soup du jour, a spiced black bean soup, was out of this world. The fried pickles were the best fried pickle wedges I've ever had, with some terrific batter. The wings were good. The sauces were delicious, especially the spice golden BBQ sauce we had (golden goldenboy, I think). The only thing was they weren't crispy.

We'll definitely be back though.“

“If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. My only GRIPE is that they use the state regulated pours so the bartenders really can't show you little love but at least they don't charge you an arm and a leg“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. “Dive bar vibe - Dark & Vintage. They're hot cheese balls were pretty good. They were not the best cheese curds that I have ever had, but they were decent. If you like your cheese curds extra cheesy, these are for you. We also got 2 burgers were which were extremely large, & cooked well done which wasn't very good. The fries were subpar and the chips were just plain generic ruffle chips -not made in house or anything. I would have loved another option to not have a side. This place was not super expensive which was cool but probably wouldn't come here again.“

“Absolutely enjoyed this bar! Their drinks were good and the night my friend and I went they plaued great music. Since it was snowy, there wasnt a large crowd, but we had fun regardless.

The bartender was friendly and gave us drink suggestions and made good talk. We watched sports on tv, talked, and overall had a good time. Bathrooms were clean, dancefloor is fun.

“A little bit of a belated review, but my husband and I went in November 2023 for our wedding anniversary. Our table had the cutest happy anniversary sign, the waiter we had was beyond sweet. The food was absolutely delicious and the speak easy was awesome. I love everything vintage and it was perfect. We found our new anniversary spot.“

“Garvey's is a fantastic place nestled in Southside slopes.We stumbled upon when we were walking from the slopes to the flats. Bartender James was a lot of fun. They don't serve food but you can order in. I showed up with my whole football crew and we brought snacks and sandwiches. Felt just like tailgate! They have a fun bowling game in the back room. We also bought Garvey's Tshirts and hoodies. What a blast“

“I was pleasantly surprised. My husband got two of the specials - beef vegetable soup (which tasted very close to my home made beef vegetable soup) and the DK mushroom Swiss burger. I had the battered onion rings and western burger. So much food, I took home left overs. And it was absolutely delicious.The service was great, friendly and personable.The restaurant was very cute, small and clean.I didn't enter the bar, but I might go back to check that out.“

“I went to a show and some drunk kid kept spilling his drink on the floor. I literally watched one of the owners come up with a mop and wet floor sign. There's something to be said about venues keeping the general public safe while providing an optimal entertainment experience. I cannot wait to watch this venue flourish!“

“We probably picked the busiest night of the week but our server still did a good job of taking care of us, and the food, OMG the burgers were great, and there was no skimping on the wing night wings, full size and served with delicious Bleu and Ranch dressings.No credit cards, I had to do the ATM dance but I don't blame them, not with giving away wings at negligible mark up

Parking: 20-25 spots, im sure you might need to choose the street but it's pretty low traffic.“
