“A big thank you to Kevin for providing the perfect venue for my husband’s surprise birthday party. Kevin is great to work with when planning an event. We were able to decorate and bring in outside caterers. Along with the selection of local beers on tap and fabulous wine, Kevin made a special barrel aged cocktail just for the occasion.“

“I recently reserved the confidant (the speakeasy connected to the Goldmark) for my proposal to my now fiancée. The entire process was incredible. Nicole and the staff are kind, responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to help make the night go just as planned. Nicole helped me plan every detail, including personalized drinks and coordination with a photographer. I would definitely recommend the Confidant if you are looking for great drinks, a cozy atmosphere, and amazing service. Our time there could not have been better!“

The pierogi in spicy garlic parmesan sauce are one of our favorite bites in the city and the hand cut fries are terrific, always with a nice crisp on them. “Wanted to make sure I wrote this review bc of my amazing experience. First, to get this out of the way… really cool vibe, great beers at great prices, and a great spot for local music. I went recently to see Sacred Monsters who were in town from Philly. It was the lead singer, KP’s birthday and we wanted to do something special for her. Long story short, Toy is amazing. Not only did she help with the surprise but she… on her own… ordered cupcakes for KP since I couldn’t find a cake that met her dietary restrictions. She was so helpful and enthusiastic about helping. I can’t wait to go back.“

“Dive dive dive. Perfect dive bar feel. Jukebox was old and lovely with great options. Bars in a pretty residential area. Smoking inside, beers in cans and seating in the front window. It’s very divey, beer and cig vibes. Pool table in the back, bartender was an older chill guy with a badass attitude.“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

“If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. My only GRIPE is that they use the state regulated pours so the bartenders really can't show you little love but at least they don't charge you an arm and a leg“

“The chicken was awesome. I heard the drinks are good, strong, and cheap. Definitely a chill vibe. Tight space, but good for relaxing after a long day or catching up with friends until midnight. It started to get really crowded after that time. Security is present. Street parking available.“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“Porky's is a hidden gem in PGH. The BBQ is fantastic. The smoked wings are some of the best I've ever had and the atmosphere is exactly what you're looking for in a relaxed yinzers bar. It's a great spot to watch sports and the staff is very accommodating to most requests.“
