“Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Small, store front space with a nice selection of fresh, well made food! Recommend as a good spot to role through especially since there's not a lot of food.
Parking: Usually spots a couple of blocks down heading east, towards the river front.
Kid-friendliness: It's not a Michelin star restaurant. Kids will be good to roll thru.
Wheelchair accessibility: Only problem is steps. But it's a 1 floor level restaurant. You'll be able to navigate. Small tables where you can post a wheelchair up at.“

“Ordered off door dash even though I pass it walking around all the time. It doesn’t stand out on spring garden but I do see people of all color in there. It was my first time ordering baleadas or trying Honduran food. It was highly rated on the app so I ordered it with carne asada and Jamaica drink for dinner. The order did take longer than expected but it came hot and fresh. A good amount of carne but the overall flavor was very comforting and exactly what I was looking for on a rainy day. One of the most impressive parts was the tortilla. Jamaica always is the best pairing when it comes to this type of food and theirs is perfectly sweet yet deep in hibiscus flavor unlike other places I’ve tried. Trying hard resist having it again one day after“

“This small neighborhood restaurant makes everything fresh from scratch! The food was excellent and service was excellent! Support your local family owned neighborhood business! This is where you will find some of the best experiences around! My electrical contractors took me here for lunch. A small family owned restaurant located in Philadelphia nestled within the historic neighborhoods of Philly. They provide huge plates of food that are definitely well worth the wait! They have a huge menu!“

“Our waitress Yesenia was great! Everything was delicious. The meats were delicious and cooked to the perfect temperature. The shrimp broth was phenomenal. And for dessert, the tres leches cake was the best. I would leave 10/5 stars if I could. Thank you very much, Tamalex!“

“This is a corner family restaurant and the food is the reason to go. The bean and cheese pupusas come in a thick stack of three with the traditional cabbage and red salsa ... mouth watering. We
also had the chicken soup and it was just like a grandma made it for us - served with handmade tortillas. The food takes time to come out and you can taste it was made by hand. We appreciated it all.“

“Amazing food! The servings are very hearty! You absolutely get your money's worth! They serve the biggest and meatiest birria tacos I've ever had! And you can tell the consome is the real deal because there's actually some meat in the bowl! The chips were a bit on the darker side, but they were definitely still tasty.“

“My family loved the food. We ordered four pupusas with beans and cheese, four more of those with cheese and loroco, guacamole, and maduros. The generous portions made it enough for two adults and two little kids, and we had leftovers too! My only complaint is that they only have their stuffed plantains available in the morning.“
