“Wow! Can I tell you something? This place has amazing food! Fresh everything (tortillas, salsa, etc) and extremely well made. Really it’s some of the best I’ve had in Philly. And I loved the atmosphere and extremely kind customer service. Come here if you know good, real food.“
“My husband daughter and I came to this restaurant 7/23/23. When you arrive it's a little discouraging appearance wise because I was looking for a full blown restaurant. I went off solely reviews when picking this place. It's small and simple. People were fine, not overly friendly but definitely not rude at all. Relaxed people and atmosphere. I ordered chicken nachos, my hubby ordered shrimp quesadilla, side of rice as well. Food came out in a nice amount of time. you can tell everything was freshly made and presented well. We had a side of chips and salsa waiting for our food. It was fresh made chips and sauces were great. I don't know the name of the sauces but one was green the other red/orange (spicy). It was great! Our food came and we dug right in. We had not one single complaint and I'm a very picky eater. I've been working on not substituting or changing anything about an order and I feel it makes the experience better. Definitely would recommend eating here, we will be back soon for sure!!“
“Everything we ordered was amazing. We tried the pumpkin pupusas; it’s now my favorite food ever. The bean and cheese pupusas were delicious too. The thick tortillas are so authentic I almost cried, it took me back twenty years to field school in Cópan. I love them so much I hopped right on here to rave about them!Saving the tamales for lunch tomorrow. I’m sure they’re fantastic too; they’re enormous so I can’t wait.“
“Was ravenous after a conference at the inconvenient and ungodly time of 2am. Everything was closed, but this shop carries birria tacos (which I've come to love, thanks to New York) so I went for it. The birria is pretty good, but it's a lot more watery than I expected. It tastes like perhaps it wasn't cooked for long enough, or it was thinned out by adding water in equal parts to the broth. Nevertheless, I was hungry and it was hot, so it was still a good experience. Also, their tiramisu is to die for. I don't know where they source it from, but I would love to know.“

“After reading some of the reviews, I decided to try this place. I ordered the three Asada (steak) tacos, and they were exceptional street tacos. The steak was slightly crispy, which is okay with me, and they also came dressed in cilantro, lime, radish, and onion, which I also expected. My tacos were very flavorful, and since I ate in, I can also add the atmosphere was nice, restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly.“
“Food definitely hit the spot. Local hidden Honduran gem located in the heart of South Philly. You know its good when you see a lot of locals. I ordered the fish with shrimp dish smothered with chipotle sauce and oh boy, it was sooo gooood. They also gave us a side of fresh home baked tortilla and it was definitely the best I had from a local Spanish spot in Philly.“
“A gem that always delivers in south philly! Super amazing tacos and tortas and from that I’d try much more of their menu in the future. They set the standard so I imagine the rest of the food is just as superb. Service here is always really good, servers are very energetic and kind and able to speak two languages, so utmost respect. Their agua frescos are huge and very tasty. I want to try their dessert but their portions are just so generous and perfect to keep me full for hours. 10/10 everytime would bring everyone I know here.“
