Pizza Hut in Philadelphia

“I ordered the $30 meal deal on Friday. I had $60 cash on me. We ordered 2 pizzas, some wings, cinnamon sticks and a 2L bottle of soda. My plan was to pay with cash. The total was like $47. Be forewarned, if you place an order before 5pm (at least on a weekday), they use DoorDash to deliver their orders, NOT Pizza Hut delivery drivers. Long story short, I had $60 cash and was going to ask the driver for $5 back. Driver arrived without any soda nor dipping sauces for my wings. Driver also did NOT have any cash on them for me to get any change after tipping so I was NOT happy. I called the store themselves to let them know that my food was delivered but did NOT receive my soda nor any dipping sauces for my wings. The manager I spoke with was absolutely mortified that the DoorDash driver forgot my soda and didn’t have any change for the tip. She went above and beyond to make sure that the situation was rectified. Once the store’s delivery driver arrived at 5pm to Pizza Hut they sent me another large pizza and two bottles of soda as compensation for my bad experience and again they were so apologetic for the mistake. Shout out to the store manager for making things right. Will definitely order from them again, just not before 5pm. Thank you again Pizza Hut for making things right. I really appreciate it!“

“This location is by far the BEST! Mr. Perry Young leads the way with extraordinary customer service and care. We have visited here time and time again with 10/10 ratings. Once, and ONLY once when Mr Young was off we had an issue with the cook on our pizza. It was underdone and we had alredy gotten home 45 minutes away so we couldn't come back to ask for more time in the oven. I filled out the survey and Mr. Young called me PERSONALLY to not just apologize but to say he has just had a meeting with his staff and explain what happened (I ordered a pan which requires a little extra time). He was kind, caring, and thoughtful! He offered us a VERY kind resolution to keep us coming back but I told him it is HIM that always will keep us coming back! Mr. Young is a neighhood guy and works hard for his customers to get the best experience always AND his staff to feel knowledgeable on how to make that happen also. They also have alot of great deals every day and a large parking lot too!! I HIGHLY recommend this location to ALL peeps and if you have the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Young, tell him Jenn sent ya!“

“My family was in town for a burial of our loved one. We stopped at Pizza Hut after. There was 20 plus of us. The waitress, Kelly, was very accommodating for all of us. She went above and beyond to meet our thirsty requests and arranged the dinner room to fit us all so we could sit together. Our pizza was delicious and fast. Strongly recommend“

“All these bad reviews have my head spinning, I’ve ordered here quite a few times and I’ve NEVER had an issue! Yes, they’re short staffed and busy but isn’t everyone anymore? Overworked and underpaid, but today I ordered in store and the cashier was an absolute ray of sunshine, I didn’t get their name unfortunately! My food is always 10/10 they’ve never gotten anything wrong :)“

“I had a frustrating experience initially, as my order through the mobile app took about an hour and a half to be ready for pick up. However, I truly appreciate how the situation was handled afterward. The general manager, Eli, personally reached out to make things right, and his kindness, understanding, and professionalism completely turned the experience around.

While the first attempt missed the mark, Eli made sure everything was corrected quickly and went above and beyond to ensure I left as a satisfied customer. His positive attitude and commitment to great customer service really stood out. Because of him, my overall impression of this location has improved, and I’d be willing to give them another chance.“
