Pizza Hut in Philadelphia

“I ordered the $30 meal deal on Friday. I had $60 cash on me. We ordered 2 pizzas, some wings, cinnamon sticks and a 2L bottle of soda. My plan was to pay with cash. The total was like $47. Be forewarned, if you place an order before 5pm (at least on a weekday), they use DoorDash to deliver their orders, NOT Pizza Hut delivery drivers. Long story short, I had $60 cash and was going to ask the driver for $5 back. Driver arrived without any soda nor dipping sauces for my wings. Driver also did NOT have any cash on them for me to get any change after tipping so I was NOT happy. I called the store themselves to let them know that my food was delivered but did NOT receive my soda nor any dipping sauces for my wings. The manager I spoke with was absolutely mortified that the DoorDash driver forgot my soda and didn’t have any change for the tip. She went above and beyond to make sure that the situation was rectified. Once the store’s delivery driver arrived at 5pm to Pizza Hut they sent me another large pizza and two bottles of soda as compensation for my bad experience and again they were so apologetic for the mistake. Shout out to the store manager for making things right. Will definitely order from them again, just not before 5pm. Thank you again Pizza Hut for making things right. I really appreciate it!“

“Not sure what’s going on.. but the manager I think his name is Perry, always has his team smiling and fired up and helping customers. I’ve been there at times when it was nonstop and they handled it like professionals.. when I want pizza , I go to this particular Pizza Hut cuz I know I’m going to get my monies worth! Can’t wait“

“We ordered three items: honey bbq wings, Cinnabons, a brownie. Paid cash. Received a cookie, dry wings. Have been on the phone for more than a hour just trying to reach someone to correct this error. Was hanged up on, with no one picking up. Calling with two different phones. No reply from either, just the same inane message repeating over and over. There is a chat that ends the session if you don’t type fast enough. Probably a bot/AI. Not the first time there had been an issue with our order, but this time they just don’t want to deal with their mistake. The chat recommends going to the store to deal with this in person. Not a great option, since the reason we ordered delivery was because it would be very expensive to go into the store. Still, that, or a couple of compensation pizzas, were our only choices. Will not be ordering again. Good thing we didn’t order more. Heading to deal with this in store. And still on hold with the same inane message repeating. Unbelievable! At least they got the Cinnabons right.

UPDATE - seems like there are serious phone issues and the store has been trying to resolve them all day. Having resolved that hurdle we did receive a refund. They were very apologetic about the issue. Now my irritation is with corporate, for poor maintenance of the store, which led me to think so poorly of them. Still not happy with the expense incurred but glad the issues were resolved.“

“Easy to find, lousy stuff but fast, good food. I was happy I got in because it's one of the best places to get food from in the area. I got food from different places around nothing like this place. Watch your surroundings and be nice to whoever asks for change, they need it.“

“My family was in town for a burial of our loved one. We stopped at Pizza Hut after. There was 20 plus of us. The waitress, Kelly, was very accommodating for all of us. She went above and beyond to meet our thirsty requests and arranged the dinner room to fit us all so we could sit together. Our pizza was delicious and fast. Strongly recommend“

“They always have my order ready exactly when they said it would be. The food is always hot and tastes like I'd expect. Staff at this location are friendly.

Parking: Enough spots considering you can't eat in so everyone's just picking up and leaving quickly.“

“I had a frustrating experience initially, as my order through the mobile app took about an hour and a half to be ready for pick up. However, I truly appreciate how the situation was handled afterward. The general manager, Eli, personally reached out to make things right, and his kindness, understanding, and professionalism completely turned the experience around.

While the first attempt missed the mark, Eli made sure everything was corrected quickly and went above and beyond to ensure I left as a satisfied customer. His positive attitude and commitment to great customer service really stood out. Because of him, my overall impression of this location has improved, and I’d be willing to give them another chance.“
