“Might be the only spot to serve Syrian coffee in PGH! They are the only one in the Strip to do so when I visited. We had come early in the morning so no one else was there and we had a nice chat with the owner!

They offer traditional Colombian flavors (like that panela syrup), delicious arepas and empanadas, as well as tasty pastries. I love this place. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! “Here in Pittsburgh for the weekend from Atlanta, Fet Fisk was high on the itinerary. They knocked it out of the park! Everyone was dressed for Halloween. Riley was our server and he was a gem. Attentive without being overbearing. The drinks were lovely. The pate was delicious to start, as was the caviar. The chantrelle mushrooms with the lignonberries? So savory and incredible. Now the standouts.. the rainbow trout and spaetzle. UH-MAZING! The espresso gin and tonic? Killer.

“Great cafe with lovely food and drinks! The coziness of the interior makes it a great spot to relax, study/work, and hang out! Plus, the pastries all look amazing, especially the pies, but I’d also recommend the breakfast sandwich, which was one of the best ones I’ve had in awhile! The egg is super fluffy and the cheese they use went so perfectly, every bite was addicting.

Definitely will be coming back to try some of their pastries, and a crowd favorite especially for students, love it!“

“First time at this coffee shop, and was greeted very warmly by the staff. Every item was explained and given a wholesome and community reason to purchase. Even the lemon tip game proceeds go to the local library. This is a very nice location for the community with excellent coffee to back it up!“
