“Wonderful Central American restaurant. We had pupusas that were super rico. Perfectly made and comparable to in other cities. Comes with great curtido (lightly pickled spicy cabbage) of course, and nice horchata. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic affordable and friendly Salvadoran place in the PGH area! Must visit and is conveniently on the red line of the T light rail so very easy to visit from downtown. “Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!“

“We frequent this place often - great food, good vibes, and fast service. There is plenty of seating at the bar and the tables at both the front and back of the restaurant. Never had nopal (cactus) before? Give it a try - it’s delicious! And if you like some heat, the homemade salsa that comes with the tacos is fire - literally! Just wash it down with a margarita or mezcal cocktail. You can’t go wrong here.“

“While in Pittsburgh for a conference, I came across this place with the groups of ladies I was with. The food was AMAZING!!! I have been dreaming of the roasted carrot taco ever since! My husband asked to plan a trip to Pittsburgh next year for the NFL draft- I only agreed because he promised me we could eat at this restaurant! Looking forward to that a year from now!!!“

“The lady who helped me pick what I should get based on my personal preferences was amazing. yaya was so patient with me as I am autistic and have sensory issues with food. We came up with the perfect combination of foods to have. I got the carne asada fries and Cali burrito and rolled tacos (just in case ). Coming from Cali I had to make sure they hold our name well. I did not get guac in the burrito but otherwise it was delicious I will be definitely going back.“

“The food is delicious!
My only issue with it is the portion size. I’m a fairly average size girl and it fills me up, but it would be great to have leftovers! The food only fills about half of the bowl and doesn’t reflect the photos from their website.
As for the pick up it was super easy to do, just click the link and open the locker! It also was made super fast, the food was ready before I got to the pick up location and I had only left about 10 minutes earlier.
Other than the portion sizes I’m super happy about the quality of food, I’d eat here over chipotle any day of the week.“

“For many years I have gone to Patron’s with family and friends. But this review is specific to my latest experience with them. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday and we decided to do catering through them. My expectations weren’t only met but exceeded substantially! Everything was delicious as usual—we ordered mixed fajitas, choripollo, rice and beans, chips and queso. I did a pickup order and everything was labeled and packaged well for quick set up. Lots of compliments from our guests too— thanks!“

“We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“

“I stopped at the truck here last night In the strip district Ordered the street corn and a chorizo burrito as well as a strawberry Fresca. I wish I took pictures of it. The burrito was massive. The street corn was so tasty and even had a little kick to it. I’m from out of town on business and so far out of three other places I’ve been to, I had better service in this little trailer, and the best tasting food I’ve had in the city even compared to some larger restaurants that plenty of other people had recommended through reviews. Needless to say I will be going back tonight just because I don’t want to keep wasting money at other places only to be let down. I hope you guys will always stay the same because I will certainly be looking forward to this on my next trip.“

“I got chilaquiles the other day, I think it’ll be better if you use the tortillas or the tortilla soup for the chilaquiles, the salsa was sweet, the beans super watery and the rice was so salty I couldn’t eat them. On the other hand I’ve had the veggie tacos and they are very good but I’ve found pieces of ground beef which was very unpleasant but I’d be willing to try them again“
