“Food was delicious! We had a pupusa with beans and cheese, a chicken burrito (huge) and a torta (also huge), and everything tasted great!The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they served chips and salsa while you wait for your food.“

This neighborhood situated near the strip district adjacent to the city center is awesome, loads of great bars and restaurant's and I found a gem that serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. I was also lucky enough to have a bartender by the name of Larkin that not only had a great personality but made both the best margarita and the best Michelada that I had ever had. Yesterday I tried Tepache Fox Chapel. The menu was very creative with authentic dishes from around the world. I tried the birria tacos. They were perfect! "A Jalisco staple. Quick-fried chipotle-corn tortilla stuffed with beef slow-marinated in chile de árbol and cinnamon, topped with raw onion, cilantro, melted queso Oaxaca. Served with lime and consomé broth for dipping." Yes they even came with console broth!!!!! The drink menu was also very creative! Great service and as we know a beautiful restaurant!“

“We frequent this place often - great food, good vibes, and fast service. There is plenty of seating at the bar and the tables at both the front and back of the restaurant. Never had nopal (cactus) before? Give it a try - it’s delicious! And if you like some heat, the homemade salsa that comes with the tacos is fire - literally! Just wash it down with a margarita or mezcal cocktail. You can’t go wrong here.“

“Had a bad experience with a door dash driver that stole my order, marked delivered but never actually gave it to me and ignored phone calls. The manager made things right and offered to re-make my order free of charge after refunding my initial order. So for that, this place will earn my business again. “Just popped in here this morning and I’m so glad I did! My spouse and I both ordered the steak breakfast burritos, and they were absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat. My spouse ordered coffee, which was really good, and I tried their atole— which was perfectly sweet and very comforting. The staff made the experience even better with their welcoming, genuinely friendly service that made us feel right at home. Honestly, it’s a 15/10 experience all around. Don’t miss out on this gem!“

Overall really nice mexican food in the area. Intense, sharp flavors. Tacos were packed.

Prices were a little higher than i expected. Paid 16 dollars for 3x a la carte items, but perhaps that’s the deal these days

“I visited this place on a therapeutic shopping outing and it was a hit. You could taste the authentic flavors, quality and preparation that was put into it. The staff and owner were so hospitable and very attentive and informative. I will definitely be back soon and even utilizing the catering options for my family events and when possible with my team. “We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“

“I got chilaquiles the other day, I think it’ll be better if you use the tortillas or the tortilla soup for the chilaquiles, the salsa was sweet, the beans super watery and the rice was so salty I couldn’t eat them. On the other hand I’ve had the veggie tacos and they are very good but I’ve found pieces of ground beef which was very unpleasant but I’d be willing to try them again“
