“I was just passing by to pick up a script at CVS right down the road. Out of the side of my eye…. I caught notice of a small building. A restaurant? “Shorties?” I’ve never noticed it before. I quickly checked Google, and yes! It is a restuaraunt! How interesting. It’s so small.

Their menu is perfect for a blue collar breakfast/lunch. All sorts of really great breakfast sandwiches, fries, burgers, hot dogs, cheesesteaks. I settled on a chili dog + chili cheese fries. I can EASILY say - these are the best chili cheese fries I’ve ever had - and it’s not particularly close, either. It’s a massive portion, and the fries are super crispy & airy with great flavor. Chili & cheese on top with garnish. Absolutely delicious.

The chili dog was good too. I prefer them over anything else I’ve had locally (not gonna mention the most popular hot dog spot locally).

I believe they may be a black owned business as well. I love to support anyone with a dream & the work ethic to accomplish it.

“I was on a mission for a chicken cheesesteak and started searching around for lunch spots. The moment I landed on Jim’s, I already knew it was over—I had to go. The staff was super polite and respectful, and they even apologized for the wait (which honestly wasn’t bad at all).
Let me tell you… I barely made it back to my work van before ripping into that chicken cheesesteak. The smell alone almost took me out—and the first bite? Absolute 🔥. Juicy, packed with flavor, and straight-up satisfying.
And yes, I grabbed the banana pudding too… and yeah, it was just as good as you’d hope.

“This was the first time back to Don & Bert's in 27 years and it hasn't really changed much. It was so good back then and still is. I grew up going on a Friday night for some cheese fries and a pb shake. Still as good as I remember. I hope this place is around forever. Paulsboro's little gem!!!!“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.“

“These G’s whipped out a super legit cheese steak in 10 min. Steak was tender, thinly sliced and well seasoned. This Hogie was holding up to the juices man. “Middletown is the quintessential small-town family pizzeria. Their food is consistently delicious, cooked perfectly, and delivered quickly. In my opinion, they make the best pan pizza in all of Media - always heavy on the cheese and melted just the right amount; no burnt crusts or browned cheese from these guys. In addition to their cheese pizza, their cheesesteaks on the Amoroso rolls and bacon cheese fries are phenomenal. Moreover, they beat everyone with their prices.
