“Absolutely FANTASTIC Easter Brunch! Our server Alfredo was the best! Definitely ask for him! Food was spectacular - delicious filet mignon with perfect bernaise sauce, frittata fluffy, Lobster Bisque. Great price point. Can't wait for Mother's Day Brunch! Also try their Happy Hour!“
“Came here for restaurant week March 2024 and absolutely LOVED IT. Honestly all the food including dessert was top tier and a great price for lunch during restaurant week. Service was great and it's a cool place overall. Will definitely be back.“
“We were in town for a visit with family and this was my SIL pick for dinner for her birthday. It did not disappoint with great cozy atmosphere and wonderful food. We ordered the French Onion soup, Giant Bavarian Pretzel, Meatballs, New Orleans Pasta, and Braised Short Rib Special and a cannoli togo. The French Onion soup was wonderful..Giant pretzel shared by all was great. The crostinis that came with the Meatballs were so hard and dry they were like dust..so some improvement needed there. The braised short rib special was excellent, the only thing I could hope for was a little more of the sauce over top of the potatoes!!! I also got a cannoli togo and I should have got two!!! It was amazing and I didn't even think I got a picture of it. We will defiantly be back to try some more food. It was very busy but everything was timely and hot.“
“Excellent food beautifully presented, gorgeous decor, professional service. Four of us went for an office lunch, had a reservation, and were shown right to our table by the gracious host. The decor is mostly beautiful wood, making the acoustics so live however, that the people talking was so loud we had to yell to hear each other. As it emptied out, it got better. Great place to eat, just not a place for peaceful conversation.“
“Stopped on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. Quick attentive service from multiple staff members. Fool's Gold cocktails, Wood-Fired NY Strip and Flat Iron Steak "Wild Man" ... Excellent! As were the House & Gorgonzola Salads and Fries (standard & sweet potato). The Black Truffle was recommended as an after-dinner cocktail and it was a perfect ending to our meal. Decor, atmosphere, the hint of a wood fire, and friendly courteous service made a fantastic afternoon. I'm glad we stop! ?“
“Food quality and value was good. Restaurant had a high end feel. Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“
“I have been a customer since the first week they opened and they just get better with time!! Their shrimp trays and crab critters are the hit of every party I have! There take and bake entries are great. Try the fish sandwich for lent or any other time. Fabulous!! Love Captains Market!!!“
“We were looking for Chinese delivery and this food was outstanding as well as quick. I got the coconut shrimp...OMG..delish. Two shrimp filled me up. We also got the classic General Tso chicken, shrimp rolls, and steamed dumplings for all to share. The food was loved by all. Great job.“
“Really good dim sum. Not sure about other dishes. Online ordering is super easy. Space is cute, cozy and centrally located. Staff is friendly and helpful too. Only downside is the typical, terrible Phoenixville parking. If you go, will probs have to search for spot, but the food and staff make it worth it. I just wish that they had a pickup area out back or something. Will def be back.Parking: Terrible but not their fault. Could use a designated pick up spot or two.Kid-friendliness: Could be but it's rather tight.Wheelchair accessibility: Kind of accessible. Space is small and things are close.“
“I took my sons out to dinner on a randomMonday. Becky was our server. She was polite, warm and the MOST attentive waitress we have had since coming here. She made our experience so pleasant. She had refills before we asked, extra bread without being promoted and had our order down to the T!Ask for her at tie next visit! We certainly will!“
“This restaurant is a true gem!! Two friends and I ate here on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday and could not be happier. The inside is on the smaller side which made it very cozy. The menu is large and has some thing for everyone. The waitress was excellent. She explained that the restaurant was BYOB, had suggestions for specials, and what came with the entrées since it was our first time there. The portion size was perfect. Everyone in our group ordered a different chicken entrée that was absolutely delicious and it came with a small salad , a slice of bruschetta, and a homemade bread with amazing dipping oil. Every part of the meal was excellent !!! Since we were celebrating a birthday, the waitress surprised us with three slices of a limoncello cake and sang happy birthday. Everything about this experience was a 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back!! I almost forgot the best part, meeting Frank! He's the owner and very engaging. It was nice to see him in the restaurant checking on his customers to make sure everything was okay and that we were enjoying our dining experience. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, I highly recommend it.“
“Just got home from a really good meal. Absolutely no complaints. Yesterday I stop by for a couple beers while waiting for my car at Bergeys Today I went back with my wife. Had the Brisket! Was great. The waitress ( banquet B) was so nice and explained to us the idea about the restaurant. Everything is made on site. Fresh! I will definitely be back and bring some friends. Go Penn State!!“
“Went to dinner at Villa Vito Friday evening. Went early to best the crowd. I enjoyed yhe most flavorful eggplant rollotini (sp) that I have had in decades! Service was excellent and atmosphere phenomenal! Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Eggplant, and perfectly prepared pasta!“
“Went for the first time on valentines day with my wife my son and his girlfriend food was very good the ribeye Steak lobster bisque was probably the best I ever had calamari was good and cheesecake was good also we will definitely be coming back one day.“
“Food and service was fine. Noise level required shouting to your dinner partner across the table in order to be heard. This was due to a table of 14 happy people all talking very loudly next to us. Would have been nice if the large party had their own room.“
“Little gem with a food rating of 8/10I was in the Norristown neighborhood and decided to stop at this Dominican food spot. The rice was nice, grainy, soft and tasty; the salad had a simple yet tasty home style vinaigrette.Beans were watery and not very soft ?and the chicken had a good flavor but it was a little blandBesides that an amazing place.Good atmosphere and good customer service.“
“We stopped into Leo’s for the first time this past weekend for slices. We liked them so much we had them for dinner 3 nights later! Friendly staff, delicious food, fair prices. Highly recommend the white ricotta pizza and grilled chicken Greek salad! Also, don’t sleep on the garlic knots- they’re perfect.“
“Went to Captain Chucky's in Colmar today and found the BEST shrimp for shrimp cocktail; they are large, delicious, snappy shrimp for a surprisingly good price. I also bought the macaroni and cheese because it looked so good. My son said it might be the best he's ever tasted. I'll be going back soon!“
“Came in for dinner on a Sunday night. Customer service from the hostesses was lackluster and dry but my sever Allison and was excellent. She was very friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu. The manager with professional and helpful when there a small issue with my meal. I love the ambiance of the restaurant. Overall a pleasant dining experience. I recommend the calamari and the carrot cake! They make all of their desserts in-house and the quality of everything was fabulous.“
“Have been coming for years and we think the food has been better under the new management, at least the items we have ordered so far. Buffalo chicken salad is the best around and the Antipasto grinder which has homemade pesto that is SO good!“
“You're in for a real treat! The plates here are an amazing mix of flavors and textures that cater to everyone's taste buds, from the little ones to the grown-ups! And let me tell you, the attention and service are simply outstanding! You won't be disappointed!“
“We're visiting the area and were told about Lobster Claw and Deli. I'm so glad we went there. The people were so nice and the food was delicious!! We ordered the #1 flounder, shrimp, scallops, and crab cake, with oysters, clam strips and clam chowder. Everything was amazingly delicious!“
“Great, fresh Mexican food. A variety of items on the menu, so there is something for everyone. Many items are a la carte so it allows you to have a little bit of everything. The new blackberry aguafresca is delicious and refreshing. The carnitas quesadilla is fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of the chips and salsa, but they seem house made. Reasonably priced. Online ordering is easy.Parking: Parking in Phoenixville in general on the weekends is difficult. We usually travel in pairs. The driver drops off sometime to pick up the food and then drive around the block until the person is ready. Not easy, but easier than finding parking.“
“I used DoorDash - I'm at a hotel visiting from out of town.. so I cant speak to the atmosphere. My order was piping hot and they called to confirm details - they were very nice. The chicken parm, bread, and soup were all fantastic... and they were all packaged very neatly with and included everything I needed to enjoy my meal.“
“My wife and I enjoyed lunch here. She had a grilled reuben with a side salad with house balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The pastrami used in the reuben is purported to be home made. The pastrami was great but smelled smokier than it tasted. There was a generous serving on the sandwich. The salad and dressing was good too. We recommend this item.I had the fish tacos and can only award them a C+ . They were fine but not full of flavor. They consisted of three soft taco shells, each with a strip of deep fried fish and topped with a sweet Cole slaw like you might eat with BBQ. Mostly I tasted the slaw. Personally, I like a cilantro/jalapeno based slaw with this dish and I like the fish, if fried, to be seasoned and coated with Panko for crunchiness. I couldn't taste any seasoning on the fish. Nothing wrong with the preparation and the portion was quite adequate, just not worth more than a C+. I chose homemade bleu cheese dressing for my side salad. The dressing had plenty of flavor and I really enjoyed it.I had and Irish ale and my wife had a glass of wine. That's why our bill was over $50. It would have been around $34 otherwise. The Dog has a nice, old time atmosphere than made us both feel very comfortable. It's a good place for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Some GF dishes although they make it clear on the menu they are fried in the same fryer were flour-coated foods are fried. So . . .I did see one "modified vegan" dish, what ever that means.“
