“My friends and I found The Wabash by accident,, we were chasing the Reading & Northern 2102 last Saturday Oct 25th 2025.. We were looking for a place for lunch and a few beers.. The food was good and prices were right,, and I got the last bowl of French Onion soup.. The woman behind bar was very nice to talk to,, putting up with us,, the Train guys... Next time we are in Tamaqua,, we will stop at The Wabash,,... Pat from Massachusetts...“

“We were there tonight. It was tastefully decorated and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere was wonderful. They gave a glass of champagne at no charge to ring in the new year. Happy new year and hope to see you guys soon.n.“

“I don't know of a spectacular way to say thank you for all the courtesy and kindnesses given to me as I was dining/celebrating with my son on his (over 21st. birthday) so from the bottom of my heart I say (once again) thank you---------for everything, Glen & Rose! The service, preparation, care of the order, and, up to and including the delivery of our food make me value this West Penn Diner experience as worthwhile and I feel appreciated as a customer. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy and the diner is clean. It is also really worth noting that your omelettes are just the very best! There is nothing to add except another order to them. All the ingredients that are included on the plate equal perfection. I feel confident to write that I bet all the customers feel that with all of these orders of perfection being carried out from the kitchen I believe you have a deadly combination of satisfied, happy and grateful customers. “I never leave reviews for places but I have to for here. the staff last night were so kind and compassionate, and I wish I caught the name of the employee who offered my husband and I some coffee after our accident. Though we couldn't eat from our nerves, I'd definitely stop in again just off the kindness of the staff alone.“

“My husband and I came upon Chantilly’s as a recommendation from our hotel clerk, coming from CT we were looking forward to some good food! We were not disappointed! The food was amazing, the prices are unmatched and the service was above and beyond! Our waitress and the owners were extremely gracious and welcoming. I highly recommend coming to Chantillys if you are in town. We are looking forward to coming back!“

“We went for a holiday occasion for kids. The atmosphere was really nice. I was not happy that the food was cold. It was also way too crowded. It made my grandchild a little anxious. I think they should have made less reservations for the day and had the event more days so the experience was more enjoyable.“

“A friend & I enjoyed another great breakfast at the Mason Jar this weekend. Everything I have tried on the extensive breakfast menu is delicious, but now they have made it even more difficult to make a choice by adding new menu items! Try out the #7 & you won't be disappointed. Our server, Sue, kept the coffee flowing & conversation fun & light hearted. I'll be back! Good thing the restaurant is close & convenient! 😋“

“Working out of town and stopped here for dinner. Ended up going back almost every night we were up there because the food was so good. Tried a bunch of different entrees and wasn't disappointed with anything. Staff was awesome as well and the wait was short. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.“
