“Different Cheesesteak #1228. The Surf and Turf Cheesesteak - make it your own. I went on a Saturday night at dinner time. The young women manager should be celebrated and taught in schools. She chatted with customers, directed staff, and when the bar got a little backed up, she jumped in to pour drinks and take orders. It was refreshing to see her take pride in her work. I got a cheesesteak with a side crab cake. The sum was greater than the parts. The Cheesesteak was average. My Crab cake was a touch dry. Together, they were spectacular!! The cheesesteak meat and onions were finely chopped. This made them a nice complement to the crab. The cheesesteak had a sneaky good amount of cheese. It was enough to loosen up the crab cake. The Hilltop Surf and Turf Cheesesteak House!! It could be big!!“

“Despite living just 20 minutes from the brewery and being an avid beer lover, for whatever reason my husband and I hadn’t been to twisted irons. We decided to make a visit and then were kicking ourselves for not coming sooner! Often if you’re not a “regular” at these breweries you’re ignored, not here. The staff were amazing! They made us feel welcome, and made beer suggestions based on our style of beer choices. The beers were delicious and the vibes were vibin’. We left raving… until we noticed our card was charged for substantially more than we authorized. BUT! Literally within minutes of me contacting the bar, they sincerely apologized for the fat finger and refunded the money. I debated adding that little negative thing, but it’s important for others to know that despite making a mistake, how quickly they rectified it while also being so kind. I 10/10 recommend this brewery and cannot wait to return! Cheers!“

“A dope dive bar where a lot of different folk come together to forget about the outside world and have a few drinks over a game or two of pool. There’s tons of bar space and table seating which makes the walkway quite skinny, so be prepared to be bumping shoulders and hips with the patrons all night. Honestly the back wall being full of TVs is kind of hilarious and doesn’t fit the vibe but who cares. Didn’t get the bartender’s name with the tattoos but that guy was really cool. Bring the lads here.“

“A great venue, not far from the UD campus right on the river. Good food at decent prices. Their upstairs venue space is awesome. We are there monthly for the Vanguard Event and they go out of their way with custom drinks and great service. 10/10 would recommend!“

“It's got pool tables, if you like to shoot, the staff is friendly -ish. It's a good atmosphere. A couple of the bartenders are okay, they are kind of slow and not very customer service friendly, but other than that I don't have any issues here and everyone seems pretty laid back.“
