“My husband and I are always on the hunt for authentic Peruvian food, and it’s honestly hard to find a place that really gets it right. I’m originally from Peru and my husband has been there a few times, so we definitely compare every spot to the real thing. Uma Cafe & Peruvian Restaurant completely exceeded our expectations. The food was SO good, flavorful, authentic, comforting, and the kind of meal that instantly takes you back home. This is one of the very few places we’ve tried where we left genuinely satisfied and already talking about coming back. On top of that, the owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel the love and care put into the food and the atmosphere. Such a hidden gem. Worth the one and half hour drive from Cape May!

P.S. On our second visit, we ordered the tacu tacu with Lomo Saltado but didn’t get a picture, still 10/10.“

“I came into this Cafe for help with a credit card account. Despite there being no one there who worked with credit card accounts, the employee who assisted me, Emma, was incredibly helpful. She tried very hard to help me resolve my issue, helped me call customer service, tried to talk to them for me, helped me file a complaint, and even made some very helpful suggestions regarding the matter. I feel as though she went above and beyond to help me, even when she didn't have to. I would absolutely come back again.“

“Be careful. Three feet in front of the door as you come in a step, marked with dim yellow paint. Being the first time I have been to this restaurant I was looking around and takin in the atmosphere when I went to take another step and lo and behold I went staggering around to keep my balance. “I randomly stumbled across this place this morning, and I'm glad I found it. They have a pretty standard breakfast menu, with some more exciting specials. A lot of their breakfast menu allowed you to build-your-own-meal. Examples... instead of listing out 10 different omelet variations, you essentially just build your own. Same with their frittatas. You also choose your sides (homefries, fruit, toast, grits) rather than being forced to have toast and homefries with the other options being up charged. Ok, onto to my meal. I went super basic. I got 3 eggs scrambled, scrapple, fruit cup, and toast. The scrapple was thick, crispy on the outside, and had a hot soft center... prefect! The fruit cup was a fresh medley of watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, and pineapple. The eggs, toast, and coffee were all delicious as well. Their prices are very reasonable for what you get. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!“

“This is currently the only Vietnamese spot in the mall, located upstairs by the food court. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. They’ll give you a number and you’ll pick up your food when it’s ready. I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“

“I went on a whim one morning and boy this was one of the BEST breakfast meals I had in a long time. I love love to go out for breakfast at therefore I have gone to many places but this by far is my favorite place NOW! Sunday we decided to do breakfast and he suggested to go to the place I had gone to the week before. I was like YES! I couldn't remember exactly where in the shopping center it was, so we drove around and then found it. When we walked in he was surprised on how nice and clean it was. I of course ordered the same thing I ordered the week before because it was out of this world delicious, cinnamon swirl pancakes and bacon. It comes with warm syrup which brings me back to times when I would heat the syrup up for my kids when they were little. The food is so good, a little expensive for breakfast but to me well worth it. “Slow service for a full staff. They move at a sluggish pace. The atmosphere is quiet in the dining room, lots of empty seats great for introverts. They should put up the AC though, it was super hot that even the workers had to use a fan.

I stopped inside, which I rarely do but the drive through line was onto the street, and the donuts are completely uncovered, there were several flies landing on all the donuts. I understand having a drive through, and not all of that is preventable, but a covered/sliding glass door for food that's sitting out isn't unreasonable. I'm sure it's not just this Dunkin either.“

“My first experience with this bakery was in its origin country (S. Korea) late 2023/early 2024 while visiting for three months. Different ambiance, but many of the items are pretty much the same. You can add calories real fast, but most of the goods remind me of the store I went to in SKR. The owners are very accommodating and welcoming (per my short experience). It is a cozy place with limited number of tables - I go there to work on my PC and grab a tea + apple turnover. If you like/love sweets and savory goods this place won't let you down.“
