“My wife and I ate here while we were visiting Pittsburgh and the food is absolutely delicious. My wife got the lasagna while I got the chicken parm and both dishes were absolutely spectacular. My wife is still raving about the lasagna, saying it's the best she's ever had. Everything was fantastic, their wine menu is superb, the cool atmosphere with the wall of plants - I'm definitely coming back here to try the chicken parm. I had the arctic char as my main and it was delicious, perfectly cooked, just the right amount of food. Also tried the Calabrian pesto, which was A+. Rich, nutty interesting.“

“We have been going to Piccolo Forno for years. It is my favorite restaurant. The staff is outstanding. The food is creative and menu items are changed regularly to make use of seasonal ingredients. There are so many delicious choices on the menu that it is difficult to decide what to order. The food is reasonably priced and the corkage fee is less than most restaurants. This restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves delicious Italian food!“

“It's like being at your favorite dinner table with family and friends! With our beautiful Italian family gathering around the bar area in numbers of about 15 Friday night, we had a blast! Yes, Joe is our cousin and that is definitely warm and wonderful but Louise, Joe's matriarch, was there too which made it extra special. Lulu, chef, Delaney, "Ms. Brown", Linda and all staff were amazing and fun. So the food, sauteed arthichoke hearts, pasta fagioli, wedding soup, Chicken Romano, Veal Romano, beverage list unsurpassed and our usual standards and oh the red velvet cheesecake was picture and taste perfect. All food made to order fresh and it definitely shows the attention to every morsel we enjoyed. Oh, the bread is made locally and it's the best. We were almost the last to leave and we have all the photos to show our fun time. Can't wait to go back for their Sunday sauce. Salute and see you soon. She would say she was going to get us refills and then come back without refills. She did package our leftovers which was nice of her and offer us more bread.“

“Took my 4 year old granddaughter there for her birthday because she wanted chicken noodle soup. Even though the soup was great, there weren't the typical big noodles that kids like. When the waitress came and I told her that, she brought a Togo container where she fished out all the big noodles. My granddaughter was so happy.
