“Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly. There is a dedicated kids menu with crayons and activities. The food selections are fairly good. Most of them involve eggs, understandably, but if your child has egg allergies they're limited to pancakes or a waffle.“

“Got a 412 with vanilla syrup and a blueberry muffin. ? Both of the guys behind the counter were super nice. Someone ahead of us forgot their phone, and the Barista went running out and chased down the guy to give it back. That's above and beyond to me. Many people would just stow it for when the person came back. The 412 was delicious, and the muffin he gave me actually wound up being chocolate, but I didn't realize till I got to my car. It was still awesome and fresh. I'm not saying don't go to Starbucks across the street, but local is Thank you!!“

“Wowza!! What a hidden gem.Six of us went here for dinner last night. It was the first visit for all of us and we were all blown away by the food. Definitely the best meal I've had in ages. The atmosphere is chill and comfortable overall, and there a few different areas around the shop where you can sit (including an upstairs loft) depending on your day's vibe.My favorite coffee drinks are a little involved, so they take some time to make. I build that into my expectations, though, and I'm usually not waiting long anyway.At any rate, this is a friendly, welcoming environment and leaving the house and hanging out for a little bit is part of the point. I sometimes come here alone for a to-go coffee, other times my wife and I sit and chat here, and sometimes I meet friends for lunch. “The famous coffee shop located on the strip! We stopped in & it was busy! Beautiful coffee shop with the best chill vibes! Staff was friendly. Latte with oat milk was delicious & STRONG! I stopped on a weekday morning and only the window was open for ordering - not sure how frequent that is, but it was easy and I got my order quickly. The latte and croissant were both very good! I've also ordered a few cakes from here and the process and pick-up is seamless.“

“Will absolutely make multiple return visits! This place is such a hidden gem, and much more spacious inside than it appears from the street. Great coffee and food, and MUCH more affordable than expected. I parked in one of the dedicated for spots for free, then got a 12oz drip coffee with a delicious breakfast sandwich, all for less than $6. Can't wait to try out more on their menu! To top it off, the WiFi is strong for working or studying, and there are clean restrooms on-site. Happy I discovered this place!Parking: A few free spots are located next to the shop. Street parking is free in the permit parking zones according to the hours on the signs. Otherwise, paid parking can be found in the area.“

“I've eaten at Delaney's just one other time and was very happy with the food. I stopped in today for a coffee and treat. I got the almond croissant but was prepared to be disappointed. Too often, when I've purchased almond croissants elsewhere, I find that there isn't enough almond filling.Well, let me just say that I was not disappointed today! The filling went almost to the very end on both sides of the croissant and there was plenty spread all throughout. The croissant is flaky but I wouldn't have cared if it had the density of a bagel. The filling did it for me.Good coffee, service felt a smidgeon slow but it i was in and out in less than 10 minutes so, that was just me. And, the people at the counter were just lovely-- very polite, professional, and pleasant.I would definitely recommend Delaney's for coffee and a treat to start the day. Or for lunch.“

I've also tried a few omelets and biscuits and gravy.The menu is pretty large so there's something for everyone. I recommend reading before you go if you can because it can get overwhelming trying to read everything if they're busy.I've also tried some of their take home meals and they're really good too.It can get kind of busy on the weekend so there might be a wait but it's never been long.“

“Everything from the walk in the door to the very last bite was AMAZING! Cute smaller place with some seating and cute hammock swings. The owner was taking an order at the counter but greeted me and helped me as soon as he finished with them. He said it would be a 20 minute wait as items are made fresh. My food came out within the promised timeframe. The honey hot chicken sandwich and fries smelled so good, I couldn’t wait to get home. After a 30 minute drive home, the food was still hot and tasted way better than I expected after transport. I can’t wait to go back and try it fresh.This is a small made fresh business, if traveling a far distance try to check availability. Try to give them some ease and understanding that items may not be available and hours may fluctuate.“

“This is award winning food. Gluten-free heaven for me! I had the tuna melt on GF focaccia bread, it was SO delicious I had to reconfirm that it was GF. The tuna was exceptionally mouth watering. Compliments to the chef, for sure! The atmosphere was wonderful. The natural handmade wooden bar-top is a focal point for sure! Overall it was a really enjoyable time! “As I've posted before, I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I prefer local, non-corporate coffee. I also like places with personality, great customer service and, of course, great coffee. Cafe cravings had it all. It's old school -- and seems to attract people from all walks of life. There was a line out the door and only two workers but they were hustling while simultaneously bantering with the locals and maintaining a great attitude. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and an americano, which were as tasty as we'd have hoped, but the 5 star review has far more to do with the authenticity of this neighborhood gem. I look forward to my next visit.“

“We decided to walk through the Southside down to the Highline to see what's new. We checked out the Burgers menu and then continued to De fer @ The Highline to take the chill off. Arriving around 11am, it was quiet with just the right music buzz and volume for a pleasant stay. The barrista was pleasant and set to making our cappuccinos like a real coffee shop. They were beautifully presented and delicious. The shop has a french motif but opens to a modern industrial lobby with comfy chairs, where it seems a number of small work meetings were taking place. The lobby is large, and the furniture is well spaced for privacy. The lobby has charging available for electronics. As a bonus, if you are reducing your carbon footprint, the parking garage has vehicle charging stations. We left De fer for a walk on the trail as noon approached, and the shop got busier with people coming in for snacks, salads, and cold drinks.“

“Had a super delicious lunch at Erin’s Deli! I ordered a tomato mozzarella sandwich on the most delicious ciabatta bread! It was very flavorful with pesto and fresh tomatoes! I was pleasantly surprised as I’ve never been to this particular deli before; even though I’ve walked by it a million times! If you are looking for a quick, delicious lunch, stop in and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!“

“My first trip to Pittsburgh and looking for breakfast I come upon this little cafe On Forbes Ave. A charming little nook open Monday-Friday and only for breakfast and lunch. They only accept cash so have some handy or use the ATM that is will be directly behind you when placing your order. The nicest, friendliest staff and great food. For the breakfast and lunch rush the have an upstairs area otherwise you are on the main floor. Prices are very reasonable as they cater to their many regulars at the courthouse and nearby businesses ( this means you won't get shafted by tourist prices). I opted for the Western Omelette with potatoes, toast, and tea that cost $10.95 and worth every penny. Definitely making the stop on any return trips.“

“This place on the inside seems like a great place for events and also modern day records, it’s a vibe. However the coffee was awful, I ordered a mocha latte, it did not taste one bit like mocha. I was severely disappointed, I had to drown it in Splenda just for it to be drinkable. I’ve never had a more bad coffee in my life. The atmosphere is great and so are the employees. But yea they need to work on that coffee. My friend ordered a turmeric latte, and she said it wasn’t good either.“

“I've been looking for good donuts for months since leaving beaver county. Found great ones at big daddy's donuts. Im assuming the gentleman that served me today was the owner. He was patient and wonderful to speak to. The shop has a nice family owned feel. Prices were unbelievable as well. This will be my new Saturday morning stop.“

“Came in for an EAGLES SUNDAY!! Our servers were the most friendly and attentive ladies. My dad and I split the classic 1 with no swiss and an order of hot garlic parm wings. The sandwich was great. The rye bread was lightly toasted and the red pepper relish was just the right amount of heat. The wing flavor was great and they were a decent size. We wished they were a little more crispy, but they were definitely a solid 8/10 as is. The fries were pretty good! They were lightly seasoned, but also not super crispy. They have two bathrooms, one downstairs and one outside. My dad said the one outside was clean, but the con is that you have to walk outside to get there. The decor inside is great. You can tell they love sports. The vibe is exactly what you want for a game day. I'll be back!“

A wide array of latte options- seasonal items chai with praline or raspberry, peppermint etc 3. Breakfast sandwiches were good -egg sausage with croissant + cake slices or muffins to choose from 4. Ample seating indoors but don't forget the outdoor seats among the trees!“

“Hands down the best dessert place in Pittsburgh. I am always surprised when people say they have never been here or heard of this place. They have the best waffles I have ever had in Pittsburgh. I always get the t and b waffles and it’s incredible. It’s the right amount of crispy and soft. The only downside is that it’s pretty limited when it comes to seating. It’s also one of the only few places that are open past 9 pm, which makes it a perfect spot for late night dessert. Highly recommend this place!!“
