And very personable to speak with. I would not only recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend her specifically as your server if possible.“

“What a lovely find! We stopped by Monday night before a birthday dinner. The server did a fantastic job matching our palates to unique, well-balanced cocktails. I appreciate he then explained each drink's ingredients to us. The food menu is limited, but includes some great basic bar snacks like labneh and olives. “Wanted to make sure I wrote this review bc of my amazing experience. First, to get this out of the way… really cool vibe, great beers at great prices, and a great spot for local music. I went recently to see Sacred Monsters who were in town from Philly. It was the lead singer, KP’s birthday and we wanted to do something special for her. Long story short, Toy is amazing. Not only did she help with the surprise but she… on her own… ordered cupcakes for KP since I couldn’t find a cake that met her dietary restrictions. She was so helpful and enthusiastic about helping. I can’t wait to go back.“

“If you like hood bars this is the place to go. They have pool tables and food but I never ate there but I heard the food is BOMB! You also have to try those jello shots that Auntie makes which are very strong. My only GRIPE is that they use the state regulated pours so the bartenders really can't show you little love but at least they don't charge you an arm and a leg“

“Attended a funeral at RJ Slaters funeral home, 12 of us went there between viewing times and had great service and the food order was done quickly. Everyone enjoyed their food and the people from Virginia never even seen a whole chicken wing. It was a great weather day and a few of us even walked the block to get there..“

“This is a nice venue with top quality music acts, very friendly employee's and very clean. There is a small parking lot and street parking. Very minimal noise level. They don't serve food but everyone goes to a place two doors down and brings it back. I highly recommend Moondogs!“

“Such an iconic Pittsburgh bar. Always something going on here, especially live music. Had the smoked wings which were a 10/10. The bartenders are awesome. There's a TV mounted on the wall so the people at the bar can watch the show, nice. Had a blast. Place was packed. Also, the biggest urinal in Pennsylvania.“

“It’s been ages since I’ve been here, but I’ve been missing out. The smoky dive of my youth is now a smoke-free place that has surprisingly good food, including a delicious burger.

It’s loud and lively, but not overwhelming. The service is excellent.“
