“Called ahead for a Saturday night reservation on a Saturday morning...got a reservation 15 minutes from requested time and was seated promptly.Read the recent reviews, therefore, did not order fried zucchini, or any appetizer, as thep portions were described as large, and they were!The wedding soup was served steaming hot with tender meatballs; could have used more pepper.Ordered two entrees;Alla pescatore, which contrary to recent reviews, was served with firm, not mushy linguine. Garlickly flavor aand could have been tastier with some red pepper flakes.Neptune, with veal, was one of the few entrees served without pasta. “What a wonderful experience eating here! As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!“

“A little confusing as to how to find the way in to the actual store, but once you are inside e prepared to be surrounded by tons of different types of proteins. Some fresh, some frozen, a lot was reasonably priced. The workers were eager to help you with the best choices for your needs and price range. I spoke with several employees regarding their experiences with the foods they were selling. I got several great recommendations! And a whole fresh chicken for $4.49? A whole chicken! I bought stuff for my home and my mother's, and filled two large brown grocery bags for just under $75. I will be back next month to stock up. Oh my parents had fish sandwiches, lobster Mac and lobster bisque. Delicious! The fries have to be soaked in something illegal, so addictive!! The sushi counter is cash only, and there is an ATM by the door. Andy was so gracious! I had to stand in line three times before I was actually able to order (didn't see cash only sign, had to pay the other meals elsewhere). The sushi was so amazingly tasty, fresh and very generously portioned that I didn't want to share! We will be back, and we will bring reinforcements! Thank you for the lovely experience! Things like this make us really happy to be new residents of the Pittsburgh area!!“

I’ve been in Pittsburgh for about 5 years and I can finally say that I found my spot for fried chicken. We had the fried provolone which was phenomenal but I have to say, thier red marinara sauce is to die for. I could just drink it! It's sooooo good! I had the Italian wedding soup was delicious and I'm not really a soup person. I had the Romano for my entire and it was so tasty! The cheesecake.....THE CHEESECAKE!! Chef's kiss. “My family stopped by on Saturday afternoon ordered a Pgh pizza and loaded fries. The Pizza was out of this world. The fries were fresh cut and delicious. Our server was Jodie and she was so friendly and efficient we never had to ask a refill on drinks. Most pleasant trip there ever.“

“Well, went to Storming Crab in homestead, pa. I was so disapointed. First I ordered a drink. Cranberry and top shelf vodka. Came with no vodka, plain cranberry. People at the bar said they didn't make that drink?? It took over 20 min for the girl to take our food order, which took another 20 min to get and when it came no ketchup or tartar sauce. So waited for condiments which never came, in the meantime we were done eating and another member of our party still hadn't received his seafood boil. Still no tartar sauce, shrimp very cold, now the seafood boil comes. Still no tartar sauce. So they cold shrimp was taken off the bill. I don't understand the time span, looks like they need more workers. Just too slow. I'm not going to give them another chance, first impression last impression plus corn was ordered and told Jazlyn was missing, never got it. With this service this place won't be here long.“

“The guys were so friendly and professional. My food didn’t take long. I just saw that they were open and decided to give it a try.I had the shrimp n grits and it was FIRE!!!!!! The potatoes looked a bit on the dark side but they were not burnt and tasted good. It wasn’t overly seasoned. My grits tho! They were creamy with a sweet taste. I wished they served breakfast more than just a day or so out of the week ?. I tried to come back the next morning lol. Please give this place a try. I’m a fan ❤️“

“Extensive seafood menu & fresh fish sold. Soup & chowder. We had the crab cake sandwich, it was not good. $23. Fishy. It could be much better. Not sure what type of crab is used, fairly certain it was not lump crab meat? We will try a different seafood entree or sandwich on our next visit & hope for better.“

“We had a private event in their private room earlier this week that was anticipated to have 26 attendees. The room was set up awkwardly in the fact that they made one long table even though it made all the chairs way too close to each other. The food was pretty good, especially our desserts and entrees. The service was also fast. When they brought out each course, they had several people bring out the food so the whole party got their dishes within a couple of minutes of each other. They also validate your parking in the attached garage but you should note that it's only for two hours so you may need to pay a small amount after the validation.“

“The food was very good and overall the serve e was very good as well. I had the Italian Chicken sandwich special which was very good, the fries were a little disappointing as they were unseasoned, and clearly got a plate full of overcooked bottom of the bag fries. I also got the French Onion soup which I was told they might not have but they did and honestly it was quite disappointing also. My work partner who I was with had the Pittsburgh salad which he liked and the stuffed banana peppers which were excellent according to him. For a Monday early evening of football season the place was reasonably busy and well staffed. The only downside was that there was a customer who clearly had a few drinks and had a problem with some other customers who left and sat at the bar dropping f bombs and other very harsh cuss words and the bar tender kind of seemed to be entertaining him and laughing. I’m not sure if she was just trying to diffuse the situation or what but thankfully he left within 15-20 minutes. I’m only in town for one night every quarter for work and with lots of small mom and pop local spots to try I likely won’t be back here but it is good to know that there is a decent place not far from my hotel that doesn’t have a chain name attached to it. I live in a small town and love supporting small town businesses as often as I can.“
