“It was our 40th anniversary and they treated us really well. The staff was just great from reception to the bar to the table. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks. They sat us in a very comfortable booth that felt private. I have to admit though that I didn't have a great first impression. The valet is $20, a town thing and not the restaurant's fault apparently. Plus it was unseasonably cool outside with few diners on the deck, so the restaurant was crowded and noisy, but there was lots of positive energy. I enthusiastically recommend Stella, it surpassed our expectations in every way. Hopefully next time we can experience the deck and the river view.“

“Such a Gem of a place. Loved the laid back atmosphere and how you could order at the kiosk as soon as you got there. Comfortable seating and jazz vibes a plenty. I had a Shrimp burger and hubby had the Salmon BLT. 10/10 and I've been told I have a picky palate. The food is fresh, flavors balanced and the proteins are properly cooked ?Hubby and I split a hot dog that had some pickled cabbage stuff on it. Friggn crazy good. “As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived.My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.“

“First time visiting Charcoal and won't be my last. Met up with a friend here today for lunch. We split the brioche donut, which was amazing! I ordered the fancy smash burger (the double) and my friend ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich.My burger was incredible, one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. My friend really enjoyed his chicken sandwich, says it was the perfect amount of heat.I'll be bringing my family back here soon so they can try or for themselves.“

“My daughter has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Jay's has a FANTASTIC menu for those with this problem! His gf pretzel rolls are to die for and the regular pretzel rolls are delicious too! They cook all of the gf food in a separate fryer. We love the gf chicken fingers too. Since all of the gf food has to go through a single cook, it's best to order that before hand because it might take a few extra minutes during busy times. Jay also gives back to the community with donations towards heating oil for those in need during Christmas times. It's an order up window only but there is an outside covered area where you can eat. They also have gf ice cream sandwiches and cakes. It's so nice to have a place that offers delicious fast food that is safe for all members of the family! My husband's entre was very nice but my salmon dish was lack luster and bland. Herbs and spices were missing. “We were out of towners stuck during Thanksgiving and stopped in here for lunch and a drink. We sat out back on the patio enjoying the view of the river til we got too cold. First of all - this might have been the best chicken pot pie I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. Secondly, everyone who worked there was beyond hospitable and so great. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in New Jersey but if I am I’m B-lining it here to eat another pot pie ?“

“This was our first visit to harvest. Parking was a bit jammed, but we were there during peak dinner time. Seating was immediate. The menu was filled with gluten-free choices for my wife. So much so that she had trouble narrowing down her selection. We had the burger, Mac & cheese. And the cedar plank salmon. All three were fantastic. Burger and the fish were perfectly cooked, and the drizzle on the salmon plate was fantastic. We did two shooters for desert covering a peanut butter candy cane and a cream cheese carrot cake. “We held a birthday celebration for my Wife at the Vault in their private event room. We hosted over 50 guests and the room was perfect for a party of that size. Plenty of seating throughout, and the room was nice and comfortable. Everyone enjoyed themselves and raved about the food! Last, but not least, Sarah and the entire staff at the Vault that took care of us for the 3 hour event were awesome! Helpful and attentive and making sure the experience for everyone was great. Sarah was communicative and helpful in putting together the event as well. I would recommend using the Vault for a private event. We are very happy with how everything turned out!“

She even gave my son a sample of Mac and Cheese to my son to try before ordering his kids meal.While eating Maribeth came around and was giving out samples. She was clearing off tables and asking if she could clear off what we were done with. She was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.I will say the snap bean are amazing and if I could’ve, I would’ve brought the whole pot home. All of the food is delicious.. “Formerly the Brass Ring, Orlando's is a good wholesome breakfast and lunch eatery (haven't eaten dinner there yet). Their breakfasts are plentiful and their burgers are excellent.
