Service was incredibly friendly, down to us saying how much we loved the sauce and our server brought up a little side of sauce and another piece of bread just so we could savor the flavors a little longer. Each dish truly got better and better. This BYOB spot is a complete standout and you need to RUN HERE. Shoutout to our servers, Maggie and Mary, and Chef Ben for a memorable, absolutely delicious experience.”

“The Ranstead Room is cozy bar that feels like it’s from a different era. We didn’t have to wait long but we got there at 6:30 PM on a Saturday night. It’s dim lit and can be a bit loud, so keep that in mind for whoever you’re going with! I loved the service, and they had an option for people like me who never know what to order. They asked me what kind of alcohol I prefer, the flavor profile I like best, and any other specifics I’m looking for and came out with a great drink! It was a fruity and tropical cocktail which was in a tall glass, and pretty strong. You get what you pay for in a good way!”

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.”

“We traveled from Colorado and stumbled upon this place. We definitely lucked out. The atmosphere, the drinks, the people all deserve 5 stars or more. The bar tenders were fun to talk to and we felt right at home. They have great drink recommendations and my husband and I enjoyed the hour we spent just talking and hearing stories. “Truly a 10/10 experience from start to finish.

This was our first visit after hearing so many great things, and we left feeling like family. Our server, Grant, was fantastic, super attentive, incredibly helpful, and genuinely kind. The rest of the staff made us feel just as welcome. We were originally seated inside but asked if it would be possible to move outside, and they happily accommodated us without hesitation.

Since it was our first time, we had no idea what to order. We basically rallied the staff and bombarded them with questions, and everyone was more than happy to help. We ended up trusting their recommendations, and they absolutely nailed it. We ordered the sausage & fennel pizza, the mushroom white pizza, the kale Caesar, the focaccia, and the ricotta dip. Every single thing blew us away.

The pacing of the meal was perfect. Everything came out at just the right time, so the table never felt cluttered. We definitely ordered with our eyes, but we weren’t complaining because the leftovers were just as exciting to take home.

The focaccia deserves a special mention. You can tell the bread program is something they take a lot of pride in. Their dough is absolutely dialed in. As someone who loves wood-fired pizza, it’s always a treat to get a pie that’s still sturdy and not floppy,
a difficult thing to pull off when you’re cooking pizzas in under three minutes at around 800 degrees.

One of the highlights of the night was when the chef let us try a new dish he was working on; a tomato salad with caramelized breadcrumbs. It was absolutely mind-blowing and fit seamlessly with the rest of the menu. I think it’s easy for new chefs to come in wanting to make a statement or put too much of their own ego into every dish. This wasn’t that at all. It was thoughtful, humble, and incredibly well-executed. It complemented what was already a fantastic menu instead of trying to overshadow it. You can tell there’s a real sense of collaboration in the kitchen, and it’s exciting to see that kind of synergy. They already had something special, and it feels like great things are still to come.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were perfect for me and my date.

A huge thank you to Danny, Grant and Garrett, who were absolute sweethearts, along with the rest of the team for making our first visit so memorable. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the hospitality made all the difference.

“This was our first time dining at Little Water. The menu is very limited with only 3 entrees, one of which is very pricey. My husband had the Wednesday special- fried chicken, which was a very generous portion and seemed to be very popular. We started with the sourdough bread, which was top notch. I had the halibut, which was delicious. We would definitely return but not consistently given the limited menu.”

“Recently tried DOHO when when trying to order tacos from our usual places on Cinco de Mayo but the kids didn't want to wait 2+ hours and couldn't have been more impressed with this new hidden gem in Mt. Airy. Creative dishes and everything we ordered was delicious. Only tried about half the options between our family of 5 so definitely need to order again soon!”

“All the rave reviews are true! I visited with a friend from out of town and we had a feast of our favorites. Nearly everything on the menu is vegan, and it was hard to choose! The lunch special is a fantastic value and includes soup and a spring roll. We chose the miso soup, which we agreed is the most flavorful we've ever had. The staff are friendly and really helpful, and the food came out really fast - truly cooked to order. And, as if that weren't enough, the prices are incredibly reasonable. 10/10. I can't wait to go back!”
