“Sat at sidewalk table on this beautiful day. Hostess sat us promptly. Server was spot on with drinks, food (special requests) and checking back. French toast was extra thick and cooked perfectly. Eggs were average. Sausage link was plump and tasty. Good and plentiful coffee.“

1 piece of kofta shouldn’t cost nearly $8.. The lamb chops were a bit bland as well but cost almost $30 for a platter.

“My husband and I are frequent customers and rave about Sam’s to everyone who comes to visit us. I love the Italian Special. My favorite part about their subs is how their light and fluffy rolls really let the quality of the ingredients shine. This also means the sub isn’t overly filling as a single serving, and you don’t have to chew forever. The staff are a hoot and the old school feel gives me such nostalgia.“

Fresh produce is key to their flavor. Pretty decent service, although you can definitely feel it when they're busy--the staff tries their best and have great attitudes. Highly recommended local business. The ambiance is pretty neat but not too remarkable, a bit of modern and a bit hippie all at once. Larger parties any struggle to find seating unless they give a notice prior to the day they want to be served.“

The bar area is tight but a huge dining room with plenty of tables in the back.“

Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. “After visiting Longwood Gardens, we stopped at Floga Bistro and I’m so glad we did! I have celiac disease, so finding a truly satisfying gluten-free Italian meal can be difficult. I ordered the Rustico with chicken and gluten-free pasta and it was absolutely amazing. I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a dish like that which tasted so good.

One thing that really stood out was the thoughtful service. When bread was brought out for the table, they brought me my own toasted gluten-free roll. That small gesture meant a lot. Usually I just sit there watching everyone else enjoy bread and olive oil, but this time I got to join in (I skipped the olive oil and used butter). It made the experience feel much more inclusive.

“The pasta is delicious! I highly recommend it. I only recently found out they have gluten free pasta and pizza. It’s not listed online or on their menus. It’s very unfortunate it’s not advertised. I used to come here often in the past. After finding out I had a gluten intolerance 6 years ago, I stopped coming. So when I found out, I came back. You guys are missing out on a lot business if you would just advertise and put it on your menu that it’s an option. Especially ordering online.“

“This Chinese food was bomb! The sauce on my chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was amazing. I had the perfect amount of spice to give it the little kick without being overly spicy. The shrimp fried rice was very small, but very good. I had a decent amount of shrimp in it and had very good flavor. The rice was not greasy. I took off a star because I got the combination platter and it was supposed to come with an eggroll, but it was not in the bag. Even though the worker behind the counter told me he put duck sauce in the bag for it.
But overall, it was delicious!“
