“I have been going to this place since I was a kid. After a visit to Kennywood we would always go for pizza here. The original owners we some of the nicest people I had met over the years and their daughter is carrying on the tradition . She always greets everyone with a smile and is super friendly :) My family and I love their square pizza and usually asked for it to be baked alittle longer for extra crunchiness. My 6 yr old grandson loves their pizza and always ask for it when he a over . The sauce and cheese is always the right amount, the pepperoni is yummy too !!! All around every visit here is always a positive experience 🍕😋🇮🇹“

“This was my first time I have had Pizza Bistro, and I can say that I would definitely order again. My Aunt was one of the winners of a specialty salad on one of your Facebook posts. Since she wanted to pick up her salad for dinner I decided to order pizza and the garlic breadsticks. They were delicious. Pizza was cooked perfectly, and the breadsticks were warm and garlicky ,definitely one of my favorites . I can definitely say that your Facebook advertisement made me a customer !“
“A really solid pizza joint in the local space with a good number of options, though I've time and time again heard that the pizza is the real treat. After having had it, I can certainly see why!
They do a big, cheesy, and greasy pizza. Though, if that's your fare, they do it up brilliantly. For my mother, that's the best kind of pizza, and I tend not to mind. So, it was definitely a welcome experience. It places a much closer stop than Monongahela for her personal choice of pizza.
It's one of those rare places where I think their cheese pizza might be their best pick, unless you're a fan of a lot of veggies on your pizza, in which case onions, mushrooms, peppers, and the like might really sell you. The Greek pizza is also good, though that's more my mother's choice than mine.
I'd definitely recommend stopping on by if it sounds like your kind of place!“

“A cozy lil pizza place just doin it's best. The crust was crunchy but not too dry. The sauce was flavorful without being overpowering and the cheese was wonderful and melty without being too greasy. A great stop if you're in the area. Sadly the interior accommodations are a bit lacking.“

“This tiny spot has a minimal online presence, and not a lot of accessible information besides the number to get some pizza. In investigating local Pizza places around Pittsburgh, I had to ask myself, where does the name Boonda come from?Well, wherever it comes from, it now belongs to a place that makes awesome pizza - and other food.Trying out their stuff, I got Pepperoni Rolls, Garlic Parm Fries, and a large Pepperoni pizza for myself and the family. And a couple other things for another family member. The price was very competitive, and the food great as well. The hand tossed pizza is thin, but not too thin, with a good sauce-cheese ratio. It is definitely a greasy pizza, but not too greasy in my opinion. Then again, I like pizza whether its greasy or not, I just think they're two different tastes. The pepperoni was awesome as well, crisped, flavorful, and ratioed excellently. The pepperoni rolls were also very good. You get a lot of them, and my only constructive criticism is maybe they should come with more sauce. But, they were fresh, had ample crust to them, cheesey, and absolutely loaded with pepperoni. Perhaps a bit zesty for some, but I liked it - along with something unique in the bready flavor of the crust.Last for me were the garlic parm fries, which were some of the best I've had around. Most are often too oily, use overcooked fries, or a combination of both. These ones came fresh, golden, and with the right amount to coat and sit at the bottom of the tray. They softened up for sure in the garlic parm, but still had some crunch to them.Knowing that they are close enough both to pick up myself, and to deliver to my place, I think Boondas will definitely be a regular. It was a rare win from the whole family.“

“We googled best pizza in Verona and we were not disappointed. Very delicious pizza! These negative reviews on here are bogus. Someone was obviously being just a troll. I love the fact that they take cash only. Which is some of the negativity here. A positive comments I've read here are in fact accurate. While we were picking up our pizza. A customer came in and picked up a couple of slices that they knew by name. Definitely worth the money. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back.“

“we just moved to the area and have tried a few local pizza places...they've all sucked! 1. we got so SICK after eating it. 2. the pizza was okay, but the calzone was raw...like more raw dough than cheese!!! 3. just tasted like cardboard. 4. over priced but not atrocious. well tonight I REALLY REALLY wanted good pizza! I contemplated driving an hour and a half to get a pizza from a place that I KNOW is safe! I stead I took the chance with Pasquales. seriously the best pizza I've had in the LONGEST TIME. it was so fast, I honestly expected it to be horrible. but it was delicious! I usually can barely crush 2 pieces...I ate 6.. I do feel sick but that's just because I ate way too much!! the sauce has flavor, it's well seasoned. the crust is buttery and delicious. you can actually TASTE the garlic! they don't skimp on seasoning which is so nice! this is our new go to for pizza!!!“

“I've been to the Millvale store quite a few times. Just like today. I try something different every time and I'm never disappointed. The flavors of the different menu items are delicious. The staff is always friendly. The one little lady who works there is always so bubbly. If you're looking for something different, something that isn't frozen pizza, or something that feels like comfort food, this is the place. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend paying them a visit.“

“This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you hope to find. They’ve got a solid menu with gyros, pizza, burgers, and hoagies, and everything is reasonably priced.
I tried the gyro and corned beef hoagie, and both were good. The food came out quickly, which is always a plus when you’re hungry. No frills, just solid food at cheap prices.
If you’re in the area and looking for a quick, affordable meal, this place delivers. Definitely worth stopping by.“

“Amazing sicilian pizza--delicious garlic-y sauce and crust with perfectly melted cheese. Also, if you're Type A, you'll love the Topping-Slice pricing matrix on the big screen. The prices are so good you'll be leaving happy even if its not your favorite pie, but I'm willing to bet you'll love it. What a gem at the Junction!“

“I want to like this place so badly. It has a cool vibe. It feels like a real, homespun venue. Sound is decent if not the best upstairs. Staff is friendly. All good things.
But Ticketmaster/Live Nation ruins everything it touches, and the last show I went to didn't have paper tickets, couldn't buy them, and tickets were not available at all with cash. Credit card only. The person literally just enters your credit card manually into whatever live nation/tm site they're using.
Tickets often have about 40% in fees added to them because of this. Most venues make it easy to get paper tickets to avoid the fees. I buy tickets without fees at Mr. Smalls and with very low fees at the bar at Thunderbird. And they always have paper tickets for their shows.
I realize the venue gets bullied into this, but this isn't very punk or homespun. Not allowing cash for cover/tickets let's the government monitor everything we do. Again, that's not punk.
We need venues to push back because us, as fans, have no voice. Ticketing scams are ruining live music and every venue needs to do their part.
I hate leaving negative reviews for music venues due to ticketing because I know they don't like it either.
Edit: I'm updating my review because of the heartfelt response from the venue and by realizing that they can't control a broken ticketing industry. They seem to be trying, and in a world of chain venues I have to support the independent ones that are doing their best to navigate this awful reality of Live nation/AXS.“

“I got a whole Sicilian Pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I would say the pizza was an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. So, I rate it as tasty. I enjoyed it. I let most of it cool to then put in the freezer, so I can have some quick and easy meals when I'm busy. I usually reheat takeout pizza in either in the oven or I'll use a toaster oven.“

“I Actually stumbled upon this place accident. It was the day before Christmas Eve And the only place That was open within A 40 minute drive. The owner was concerned about making my pizza fresh, even though I had to be his last Customer of the night.
I’m a small girl, but there were only two slices left of that medium pepperoni pizza by the time I got home. Perfect, thin crunchy crust And their sauce had a slight kick to it, but I wouldn’t consider it spicy Or too hot. I don’t know, but it was really good and I’ve been thinking about it for Days.“
