“Quintessential pizzeria... not only is the staff fast and friendly inefficient they also go above and beyond with a little extras that mean the world to customers such as myself.

Guys if you're reading this to the staff of Bellisario's I wish there was a way to get you guys even more business not like you're hurting though because honestly your pizza is a Hidden Gem in West Mifflin particularly in Duquesne Shopping Center....yinz keep up the excellent work!

“I’ve been to this place about 10 times in the past 2-3 yrs. I got a kennywood pass & today suggested it to my husband I wanted to order it to go. I also ordered my grandparents a few slices cause they’re a big fan of square pizza. It’s a cash only place with an ATM.
First of all a boy about 10 yrs old was hanging out outside and followed me in. They said I had a few more mins to wait & to kill time I started looking at photo albums on a rack. The boy came over & knew all the history to these old photos. He was such a smart, sweet, polite young man!
She told me the price & I said I had to run out to the car for the rest of $$ because I was $7 short, she told not to worrry about it& gave me a bunch of bananas. I just can’t believe how awesome this family is. The boy was the grandson of the original owners.
You just instantly felt welcomed here. The pizza is amazing!! I have an Italian hoagie here I didn’t even try yet but it smells and looks amazing. It just feels loved. It’s definitely underrated. They are are open Thursday-Saturday 4-8pm. Hours are weird but worth the accommodation. The world is hard and cold. This place almost made me cry with a simple interaction with this family & the regular customers there.“

“A really solid pizza joint in the local space with a good number of options, though I've time and time again heard that the pizza is the real treat. After having had it, I can certainly see why!

They do a big, cheesy, and greasy pizza. Though, if that's your fare, they do it up brilliantly. For my mother, that's the best kind of pizza, and I tend not to mind. So, it was definitely a welcome experience. It places a much closer stop than Monongahela for her personal choice of pizza.

It's one of those rare places where I think their cheese pizza might be their best pick, unless you're a fan of a lot of veggies on your pizza, in which case onions, mushrooms, peppers, and the like might really sell you. The Greek pizza is also good, though that's more my mother's choice than mine.

“This was my first time I have had Pizza Bistro, and I can say that I would definitely order again. My Aunt was one of the winners of a specialty salad on one of your Facebook posts. Since she wanted to pick up her salad for dinner I decided to order pizza and the garlic breadsticks. They were delicious. Pizza was cooked perfectly, and the breadsticks were warm and garlicky ,definitely one of my favorites . I can definitely say that your Facebook advertisement made me a customer !“

In investigating local Pizza places around Pittsburgh, I had to ask myself, where does the name Boonda come from?Well, wherever it comes from, it now belongs to a place that makes awesome pizza - and other food.Trying out their stuff, I got Pepperoni Rolls, Garlic Parm Fries, and a large Pepperoni pizza for myself and the family. And a couple other things for another family member.The price was very competitive, and the food great as well.The hand tossed pizza is thin, but not too thin, with a good sauce-cheese ratio. It is definitely a greasy pizza, but not too greasy in my opinion. Then again, I like pizza whether its greasy or not, I just think they're two different tastes. “I want to like this place so badly. It has a cool vibe. It feels like a real, homespun venue. Sound is decent if not the best upstairs. Staff is friendly. All good things.

But Ticketmaster/Live Nation ruins everything it touches, and the last show I went to didn't have paper tickets, couldn't buy them, and tickets were not available at all with cash. Credit card only. The person literally just enters your credit card manually into whatever live nation/tm site they're using.

Tickets often have about 40% in fees added to them because of this. Most venues make it easy to get paper tickets to avoid the fees. I buy tickets without fees at Mr. Smalls and with very low fees at the bar at Thunderbird. And they always have paper tickets for their shows.

I realize the venue gets bullied into this, but this isn't very punk or homespun. Not allowing cash for cover/tickets let's the government monitor everything we do. Again, that's not punk.

We need venues to push back because us, as fans, have no voice. Ticketing scams are ruining live music and every venue needs to do their part.

I hate leaving negative reviews for music venues due to ticketing because I know they don't like it either.

Edit: I'm updating my review because of the heartfelt response from the venue and by realizing that they can't control a broken ticketing industry. They seem to be trying, and in a world of chain venues I have to support the independent ones that are doing their best to navigate this awful reality of Live nation/AXS.“
