although i opted for a refund instead - having the manager call and be apologetic/offer other options was huge, he was so polite and accommodating and they even gave me an extra cookie for free.

I really applaud the manager at this location, it’s so difficult to find great customer service and someone who actually cares about what they do. unfortunately, it is a saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend, so i totally get it and it’s understandable they were out of the bagels! keep up the great work.“

“Nile Cafe in Germantown offers affordable vegan Soul food with big flavor! The modest interior is lightly decorated and sparsely seated. There were maybe six two-chaired tables. Outdoor seating options are available. Walking in, locals cycled in, ordered, waited, and cycled out constantly. All the food, served in to-go containers, was fantastic. The duck in gravy and the jerk chicken stole the show before we had the dessert. After being impressed, we dug deeper into the menu. The coffee ice cream was super creamy and the cake was moist and decadent. Nile Cafe is special. Although there isn't much on the menu we didn't try, the food was definitely worth a revisit. I might just stop in for dessert when I'm around.“

The favalafel was tasty although the person ordering it suggested they’ll add hummus next time for some extra binder. The schnitzel was also tasty although a bite or two was more on the spicy side than the rest due to a concentration of the spread there. The beef brisket was a real stand-out although a bit messy to eat because of the sauce. The spicy lamb had a nice crisp wrapper and was spicy as advertised. The crispy potatoes were fried to perfection and the zhoug-black garlic ketchup was a nice accompaniment. We will definitely be ordering from here again!“

“We experienced the Dump & Roll food truck at 2SP brewery in Aston PA. We love 2SP’s beers and atmosphere, and they have a great assortment of food trucks Thursday-Sundays. Anyway, Friday night Dump & Roll truck was there, with a super friendly and enthusiastic Peter running it. We got the sampler for 2, which included everything on the menu for a really fair price. Sometimes I’m frustrated with how expensive food trucks can be, but I was really happy with Dump & Roll’s prices. Every dumpling was really good, paired with a sauce for each set. I loved everything, though I didn’t expect the mac & cheese eggroll. It was good, but the least of my favorites, if that makes sense. If you get a chance to try this truck, you won’t be disappointed! “A gal pal suggested we try out the new restaurant. It was EXCELLENT. I had lamb saag. She had mango chicken? We tasted each other's food and just giggled. We had the smoothie and Indian Coke drink- both awesome. The dining room is TINY but the table settings are works of art- fancy napkin sculptures and elegant, playful silverware & dishes. The onion stuffed naan was exquisite. Our server was attentive, polite and answered our questions without hostility or offense. The spices are ON POINT. Their system of personally developing everyone's plate is outstanding. I discovered that I am a wimpy +2 while my friend is a +3. Trying both our food with the varying heat/spice ratios, I could enjoy and taste all the flavors without having my tongue burned off, lol. My ONLY complaint, which has kept me from trying them in the past, is that to order and pick-up take-out, you must use their back door which I find to be creepy and dangerous looking. So I guess I'll only go when I can eat in, using the front door, LOL. However, I was impressed when we asked for our leftovers to be packaged, our server gave each of us free complimentary fresh bismati rice to go along with our uneaten entrees. They give good portions! And the packaging is washable, reusable, recyclable plastic containers- not cheap carboard that soaks up sauces or scary unstable thin plastic that leaks or horrible styrofoam that should be outlawed. THIS RESTAURANT IS WONDERFUL!“
