“My son and I had dinner for Mother’s Day. Our first experience at this restaurant. Aside from a small miscommunication where the side dishes were delivered to the table alongside the apps, everything was very good. They corrected the sides and delivered fresh with the entrees, the sides were easily large enough to share amongst three or four people and the food was very good. The app, sides and entrees, as well as the gluten free chocolate cake were all delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to return.“

“Was visiting with our son and headed here for lunch today. Did not disappoint. Service was excellent, food was excellent, very simple salad but delicious. Extremely pleasant, friendly staff- fairly certain they were the owners. Had leftovers to bring home for later. Looking forward to our next meal to to see what is new on the menu. I had the basil gnocchi.“

“We recently held my parents 50th wedding anniversary party there and it was wonderful! Everyone I dealt with, from the event coordinator, kitchen staff, and wait staff, were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our event a special one. “My husband and I have been going to the Village Inn for many years now. Everything we have eaten there has been so delicious from sandwiches to great Italian Food . My favorite is the stuffed crabmeat mushroom appetizer, bruschetta and Chicken Romano. The meatballs and pasta are so good. My favorite dessert is the Tiramisu. I highly recommend the Verona Village Inn.“

“Found this old neighborhood restaurant and wanted to give it a try. Small restaurant with friendly staff. We both got house salads and shared a pizza. The salad was ok. Some of the lettuce had brown portions that a customer shouldn't see. The pizza wasn't bad but lacked flavor. The crust almost seemed like a mundane frozen crust. The part we disliked the most was how the servers took up a table and would sit there at the table plus eating instead of tending to the tables. Sorry, but if there are dirty plates stacked at the edge of the table, the server shouldn't walk by and go sit down. If we were the owners, we would not want that.“

“It's like being at your favorite dinner table with family and friends! With our beautiful Italian family gathering around the bar area in numbers of about 15 Friday night, we had a blast! Yes, Joe is our cousin and that is definitely warm and wonderful but Louise, Joe's matriarch, was there too which made it extra special. Lulu, chef, Delaney, "Ms. Brown", Linda and all staff were amazing and fun. So the food, sauteed arthichoke hearts, pasta fagioli, wedding soup, Chicken Romano, Veal Romano, beverage list unsurpassed and our usual standards and oh the red velvet cheesecake was picture and taste perfect. All food made to order fresh and it definitely shows the attention to every morsel we enjoyed. Oh, the bread is made locally and it's the best. We were almost the last to leave and we have all the photos to show our fun time. Can't wait to go back for their Sunday sauce. Salute and see you soon. Thank you for your "cordial" cordial to cap off the night. Highly recommend. There is nothing better than a cozy Italian restaurant that is one of a kind. Spring is here and the bocce court will be ready!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The entrees are creative plays on classic Italian dishes, the sides are well executed and the appetizers are incredible. The most dangerous thing is the buckwheat focaccia. It's fluffy, soft and flavorful, and the variety of dipping options are mouthwatering individually. I love the vibe of the restaurant. It's hip without feeling forced, the staff is friendly and they play cool music. It's a great date night spot. Major drawback is the parking. It's on-street, and a crapshoot at best to find a spot near the door. But don't let that stop you from checking this place out. It's worth the trip. Pricing is in-line with most upscale dining in the city but not at the extreme upper end.“

“Originally went elsewhere to eat and the service was so bad, we walked out. End up at Olive Garden. So glad we did. Our server, Beth, was amazing. She was so attentive, was able to multitask, very pleasant! The food was delicious. It is out of our way to go there but I will be returning for sure. If you go to Rt 51 location, ask for Beth!!“

“this has become my wife and I's favorite Italian restaurant in the South Hills. portions are huge. Food is absolutely delicious. Quick warning though if you order the stuffed hot peppers they will be HOT. They're absolutely delicious though!“
“My lady is taking time for her. Please stop in before it’s too late. Love her and the food she makes and bakes. Found this place living at children’s hospital, everyday I just wanted to leave and go here. Never knew what the menu would be like you would just have to go and see for yourself. Something new always. My husband swears they have the best wedding soup hands down. Im completely obsessed with the carrot cake and I will never be able to go or get it anywhere else. Best carrot cake ever! The staff and owner are super friendly and very easy to talk to. Need a laugh they chuckle and make the day a little brighter. I wish this place was a little closer to home we have Maria’s dinner every other night. We will definitely be back and can’t thank you all enough for everything the last few weeks. Sam & Day.“

“Today’s order was exceptional. It had been a minute since I ordered from here as usually my order was messed up etc. today I was craving one of their chicken salads so I decided to get that and a pizza for my kids. Both items were amazing and perfect! I understand this place is under new ownership. The manager/owner even brought the food to my car and chit chatted with me a bit. 10/10 customer service. This makes a big difference.“
