“Place has best bagels in the area by a mile. Only drawback is it's impossible to place a call ahead order. Either no one answers or you get strange prompts saying their line is busy even the phone doesn't even ring once. Really weird. So be prepared to wait on weekends.“

“So basically I went during the week with my friends. They had an excellent staff team. The lady on the cashier was so friendly and so nice. She was extremely welcoming despite me and my friends being high schoolers. She also had a daughter in high school so she made good small talk and made us comfortable enough to stay there and eat. The other people were good too! The food was absolutely scrumptious. Positive vibes. I got the Everything Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese and a croissant. My friends got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel along with drinks! Loved those too BTW! We are waiting for another early dismissal to go there and eat! Thanks Manhattan! Highly recommended for everyone (positive vibes with good food).“

“The first time I went I had to wait about 25 minutes for my food because there were many orders ahead of time which I didn’t know about . Once I received my food it was delicious , making the wait worth it . They were nice and is careful with your food . They are so not stingy at all with the sandwiches .
I do recommend ordering ahead of time !“

“I work up the road and we ordered for pick up for lunch and it was delicious! BLT’s can be tricky for takeout. The bread was toasted, fresh yet crunchy and delicious. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly with a good portion on the sandwich. The lettuce and tomato were also fresh and distributed evenly with the mayo. Served with fresh coleslaw and a pickle! My new favorite lunch spot!! Can’t wait to try the other menu items.“

“I love this place. The staff is always so friendly and greet you with a smile and a cheerful hello when you walk through the door. The bagels are my favorite in Philly but, what sets them apart is their house made cream cheese! The veggie is my favorite but all of them are delicious. So many creative options. Oh! And if you are looking for a bagel that tastes like a fresh plate of pancakes…they have that too! So good.“

“I've been coming to this spot for 25+ years since it was The Bagel Factory. Although it has changed hands a couple times and is now a Manhatty, the tradition of a solid breakfast sandwich spot continues. The staff/owners are very nice and appreciative of your business. The service is quick and I haven't experienced a long line yet. There's plenty of space inside to eat in as well.

The breakfast sandwich (BEC on Everything) is always consistent, isn't messy, and is fairly well-priced compared to the premium spots in the area (Spread and Up-Ryes). Good Everything bagel with salt - fresh cooked egg and solid bacon. Nothing worse than an Everything bagel that doesn't have salt.

I would go here over Spread 10/10 times. While Up-Ryes may be a higher quality sandwich, they are more expensive and it's good to switch things up once in a while.

Also Manhatty's Vanilla Hazelnut coffee is A+. Would recommend!“

A+Edit: this must be said there are 4 manhattan bagel near me, and only this location knows how to make a hashbrown - im a big fan of hashbrown with the breakfast sandwich, i like it crisper and made well, and this location NAILS it perfectly. All 3 other locations cannot get the well done hashbrown right, or even get it crispy at all. This is the manhattan bagel to go to if you are in the area or visiting“

“Saturdays start with a Fill-a-Bagel run! Everything bagels, cream cheeses and LaCombe coffee are our favorites as well as the yummy blueberry muffins. We are lucky because we live equidistant from the Oreland and Jenkintown Fill-a-Bagel locations!“

“My husband and I went for lunch today. The food was delicious (we were already familiar with the bagels), however the staff was very distracted. They were friendly and pleasant but they got some things wrong even though it wasn’t very busy. I asked for the honey mustard mayo on the side and it was omitted completely. Also, some of the apple slices still had the stickers on them which means they most likely weren’t washed or looked at prior to using. That’s pretty careless to put fruit slices with stickers in a sandwich.“
