“Have been a couple times and had the excellent wings. This time I asked the bartender Emily for a non-wing suggestion and she mentioned the Southwest Chicken Panini. I went with that and was glad that I did. The habanero bacon jam was legit. Emily was very attentive even with the gradually growing crowd she had to pour for. Total rock star! Will definitely be coming back.“

“We were visiting the area from out of town and wanted to stop at crumbl cookies next door to this place. We decided to stop in and get a bite before heading home. They had a ton of selections and toppings. I got the M2O burger with the onion ring and special sauce, my sister got a classic burger and my daughter got a salad. Everything was delicious. The burger was hot, fresh and very juicy. I loved the pretzel roll and my sister said her potato roll was very soft and tasty. She especially liked the thick cut pickles. The onion ring on my burger was huge and crispy. I would definitely order those as a side in the future. The Crinkle cut sweet potato fries were equally delicious! We also got a Chocolate milkshake. They accidentally made it twice and instead of throwing the second one away, let us take it for free. All around good place and good people!“

“I thoroughly enjoy my dining experience at this location. No matter how busy it is my food always comes out hot and fresh. I never have to wait long to be seated or served. The host and waiters are very pleasant I definitely will be returning. Compared to the Springfield location this is very cozy and intimate setting. There is free parking outside the restaurant and across the way if the spots filled up. I try and capture pictures prior to eating sometimes it’s hard 🤣“

“The food was SUPERB! Very tasty and LARGE portions! Staff were polite and friendly. We did not feel rushed when ordering our food and with asking questions about ingredients in a few food items/choices. Ambiance: So this was my first time here. Very delicious food and pleasant staff, however I was shocked to see the TINY tables for eating. I have never seen tables so tiny, in a cafe/eatery setting, ever in my life...for eating! I was afraid the food wouldn't all fit on the table and that we would have to hold a plate in our hands. The seating is VERY tight, like a packed sardine tight, like I wanted to leave and go elsewhere with roomier seating tight, but my man wanted to treat me to delicious food, so I chalked it up and said nothing. Otherwise food and staff were awesome, and you get what you pay for; i.e. their portions are LARGE and very yummy. I rated them 3 stars, although I really wanted to give them 2, solely for the seating setup. Otherwise, I rate them 5, for their food and service.“

“Delicious!!! My friends and I were so excited to try Bar Jawn, especially since we’ve loved Pizza Jawn for a long time! The food and drinks were all fabulous - Bar Jawn has a chill, relaxed atmosphere but boasts an elevated bar menu that is so much more and so far beyond typical bar food! Some of our favorites were the drunken ravioli, the buffalo arancini (so inventive!!!), the chicken parm (make sure you get it with ravioli!), the mozzarella triangles (mozz sticks with an upgrade!) and the eggplant stack! “I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “Illata has become our favorite Fitler Square restaurant, and we've been in the neighborhood for 22 years. It's a little gem, nestled on Gray's Ferry Ave just steps from South Street. The staff is extraordinarily pleasant and helpful, and the food is - in a word- exquisite. All delicious, all prepared beautifully, a very balanced menu of seafood, red meat and vegetarian options. Their desserts are divine!
But perhaps the most amazing, and extremely reasonable addition, to the menu is their sourdough bread- hearty and flavorful, with a perfect slightly chewy feel on the tongue. We've taken to order some to go!

“The rare 5 stars I give- this place deserved it. I chanced on this place one day for the pizza... got brocciole pizza and spices, and potato pizza- outstanding selection and the best or as good as the best pizza I've had. Crust and flavor combination was perfect. I came back 2 nights later to try other dishes... I ordered gnocchi because this shows quality in a restaurant- I've had many bad gnocchi dishes- Alice restaurant was the most perfect gnocchi I have ever had in a restaurant. only home made is better. The texture was perfect and soft. spice perfectly blended. I asked to add sausage... made a perfect meal. The Gelato on top of the small tart was superb. they make their own gelato... quality is excellent. Anna, our server was outstanding. her people skills and customer service would make the owners proud to represent them. Only draw back was that our bar seats were a bit uncomfortable. it is a bit cramped in there. they need a bigger space. absolutely loved this place!!!!“

“My family and I (5 of us) were visiting Philly this weekend and were looking for a nice brunch place. Continental Midtown was perfect. The food was amazing. I had the Chilaquiles. The flavor was pure yum. I ate every morsel on my plate. My wife loved her Eggs Benedict with Salmon. The eggs and sauce were perfectly cooked. The service was perfect. Our server, Sela, was so hospitable and sweet. She took our order and the food came out quickly as if it just came off the grill. Will certainly return the next time we are in Philly. Wish I took some photos of our food but we devoured it in no time.

“Had dinner at Bar Sera for the first time in 2023-06-16 for a 7pm reservation. We got seated right away, not waiting at all. All our drinks and food came out on time and was absolutely delicious. We had the best server named Rachel. She had many tables but still was amazing, very attentive and would engage in conversation with us as. She made the dining experience so much better than any restaurant I’ve been to in a while. The food overall was amazing. I highly recommend this place. If you can, ask for Rachel, she won’t disappoint.“
