“I've been coming here for about 2 yrs and have tried different locations but seem to always come back to the Wynnewood.The food is always amazing. Its fresh, hot, and cost effective. The staff is attentive and professional. We enjoy our visit every time.“

“The food was SUPERB! Very tasty and LARGE portions! Staff were polite and friendly. We did not feel rushed when ordering our food and with asking questions about ingredients in a few food items/choices. Ambiance: So this was my first time here. Very delicious food and pleasant staff, however I was shocked to see the TINY tables for eating. I have never seen tables so tiny, in a cafe/eatery setting, ever in my life...for eating! I was afraid the food wouldn't all fit on the table and that we would have to hold a plate in our hands. The seating is VERY tight, like a packed sardine tight, like I wanted to leave and go elsewhere with roomier seating tight, but my man wanted to treat me to delicious food, so I chalked it up and said nothing. Otherwise food and staff were awesome, and you get what you pay for; i.e. their portions are LARGE and very yummy. I rated them 3 stars, although I really wanted to give them 2, solely for the seating setup. Otherwise, I rate them 5, for their food and service.“

“After discovering the restaurant in March, I had to return for my birthday in August. So my husband and I made the 3-hour drive to Philly just so I could eat at Monster Vegan twice in one day. The food was consistently delicious. I could eat the eggrolls and tacos every day. The service was wonderfully inviting. The vibe is great during the day but the evening totally elevates it. I’m also thankful for their mocktail menu is just as creative as the rest of their drink menu and not just a spirit-free mojito. It’s my favorite restaurant and will gladly make the trek to Philly again just to visit Monster Vegan.“

This was my first visit to Miss Rachel’s Pantry, and it was outstanding from start (delectable biscuits) to finish (pineapple upside down cake with coconut ice cream). While I regularly enjoy vegetarian cuisine, I’m an omnivore and haven’t had much experience with vegan food. “These are the most generous people I’ve ever had the privilege of ordering from in my life. I’m going through a family crisis and I’m in town for the week. I’ve been eating wawa veggie sandwiches and French fries for over a week now and I decided to treat myself to something vegan so I ordered through grubhub for the first time. I guess I accidentally ordered it to be delivered the following day. So I just called them and asked them if they were able to change the delivery time. They said sure no problem but apparently they couldn’t find a GH driver so the owner drove 20 minutes to deliver it to me and I’m honestly about to cry after the week I’ve had. They will never know how much this means to me. I am a lifelong Boardwalk Vegan fan and cannot recommend them enough!!!“

“Nestled inside Reading Terminal Market, it is necessary to navigate through aisles of carnivorous atrocities by other vendors, (be prepared to cover your eyes and hold your breath) to arrive at LUHV's outpost. The venue itself is underwhelming, as is the menu, but sufficient enough to satisfy any hungry Vegan, assuming one is not strictly adhering to the healthiest options on a whole-food, SOS-free regimen ::sigh:: And so, I opted to try the "Lox (made from beets) and cream cheese (tofu) sandwich (everything bagel) which in all honesty, tasted just fine. I guess it just doesn't hit the same way as on previous visits to Philadelphia as a full-fledged Vegan foodie from 2016-2020. Now, the way a meal makes me FEEL is just as, if not more important than how it tastes. I can't wait to get back home, to my daily salads and smoothies.“

“Nile Cafe in Germantown offers affordable vegan Soul food with big flavor! The modest interior is lightly decorated and sparsely seated. There were maybe six two-chaired tables. Outdoor seating options are available. Walking in, locals cycled in, ordered, waited, and cycled out constantly. All the food, served in to-go containers, was fantastic. The duck in gravy and the jerk chicken stole the show before we had the dessert. After being impressed, we dug deeper into the menu. The coffee ice cream was super creamy and the cake was moist and decadent. Nile Cafe is special. Although there isn't much on the menu we didn't try, the food was definitely worth a revisit. I might just stop in for dessert when I'm around.“

“I’ve been sober from alcohol for almost 7 years and this was the most enjoyable/comfortable dining experience I’ve had in that time.
