“✨ Samedi soir inoubliable ✨ Après un concert intimiste Candlelight au 9e, j’ai poursuivi la soirée au réputé Café Ferreira, une véritable institution portugaise au cœur de Montréal. Dès l’entrée, les effluves envoûtants de la cuisine m’ont séduite. Service impeccable, rapidité et fraîcheur irréprochable. 🌊 En entrée, des huîtres sur glace d’une fraîcheur exquise, relevées d’une mignonnette au vinaigre vieilli : un pur délice marin. 🍲 En plat principal, la bouillabaisse aux poissons et fruits de mer — généreuse, riche en saveurs, et tout simplement succulente. J’ai savouré chaque bouchée avec gratitude. 🍮 Et pour clore cette expérience : le pastel de nata maison accompagné de glace… une douceur portugaise qui a parfaitement scellé cette soirée magique. The service was exceptional. Every member of the team was attentive, genuinely enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable. As each dish arrived, every ingredient, preparation, and flavour combination was thoughtfully explained, adding another layer to the experience.

I shared with my server that I had come on the recommendation of a CWC, French-trained chef, who insisted that if I was visiting Montreal, Joe Beef was an absolute must. I told him I wasn't simply looking for dinner, I was there for a culinary experience. When he offered to curate my meal, I happily placed myself in his hands. It was, without question, one of the greatest dining experiences of my life.

Every course was extraordinary. The oysters were impeccably fresh. The foie gras was luxurious and unforgettable. The sweetbreads were nothing short of divine. Every bite showcased remarkable creativity, flawless execution, and bold yet beautifully balanced flavours. This wasn't just a meal, it was a celebration of exceptional ingredients and culinary craftsmanship.

As someone who actively seeks out memorable food experiences, Joe Beef has earned a permanent place at the very top of my list. It exceeded every expectation I had imagined and then some.

Le fish n chips panko était crispy et vraiment succulent l'autre personne à commandé un steak frites très tendre elle a adoré. le service était très bien et rapide et l atmosphère géniale on étaient sur la terrasse il y avait un chansonnier et cela a contribué à rendre notre expérience des plus agréable ! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. we started with some Proseco, and had a Greek Salad with a side of Crab Cakes which were decadent. My main course was the lamb chops, grilled to perfection and wife had the grilled shrimp. Both dishes came with rice and vegetables.
For dessert, we finished of with Loukoumades for two and they were so good I ordered another single portion.
We spent three and a half hours there, they do not rush you, and the service is excellent.
The staff go out of their way for you. I had developed a headache while there and the waiter made sure I got some Tylenol.

The set course menu had several options -and the food was amazing! The salad dressing was so good, I almost wanted to drink it.
