“Great find for us, directly opposite our hotel. The staff were magnificently friendly and engaging. My wife and I were visiting Montreal from Scotland and were made to feel like regulars. “We went on a Sunday, it was busy for a Sunday night but the waitress did an amazing job handling everyone we never had to try hard to get her attention. There was a burlesque show that was fun to watch. The murder mystery game was a good surprise. Great for groups we had good laughs and really enjoyed our time. The drinks were so tasty and the Brie was amazing as well!

“I went to Mollie on three separate occasions to have their brunches. The food was delicious, fresh, and the portions were very generous compared to other restaurants I have eaten at. They also serve alot of fruits on your plate. The desserts prepared by Ally are to die for. The service is great and the employees are very attentive. The bathrooms are very clean, which is very important to me. I live on the south shore and travel to Montreal just to have my breakfast at Mollie.“

J’ai commander le drink Preach’s peach pour sa composition et le magnifique verre annoncé sur le menu (flamingo). Malheureusement, le drink n’a pas été servi dans le verre tant attendu. Dans ce genre d’endroit, la présentation fait toute la différence pour justifier un cocktail à 25$. J’aurais apprécier qu’on me renseigne que le verre n’était pas disponible ce soir-là. J’aurais probablement opter vers un autre cocktail à un prix plus modeste. Ceci dit, le goût était bon. Nous ne recommandons pas les spritz sans alcool qui sont à notre goût fade et simplement amer. Un ajout de sirop simple pourrait probablement balancer l’amerture de ce drink qui est normalement délicieux avec du mousseux, bien entendu. Pour terminer, le cocktail bleu dont je ne me souvient plus le nom était le highlight de la soirée. Je retournerais au MilkyWay pour retenter l’expérience :) Au plaisir,“

“My wife and I had a fantastic evening here on Friday. It has a warm atmosphere that made us want to stay much longer than we would have normally. The food was exquisite, and a good value for the quality provided. The wine list was extensive, featuring wines from several French regions, as well as some from Italy, Spain, US, and Canada. The servers were attentive, speaking French and English, and there was a sommelier on staff to help with the wine. The plates weren’t overly large, but we were quite filled after three courses, wine, and an aperitif. We are definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.“

“The vibes and atmosphere of this restaurant are immaculate. Unfortunately, me and my group of 3 had to sit at the bar because there was a 2 hr wait when we arrived on Saturday night. It was so noisy, that it was impossible to hear each other across the bar.

The drinks were amazing- I had a mock-tail that I really enjoy and my friend loved their cocktails. The food was flavorful, and the dishes were quite unique, however I've had much tastier Peruvian food in places like D.C. I'd come back for the vibes and drinks as a bar-hopping stop, but would honestly try a different option for food.“

The whole place slowly transforms from a sexy dinner location to a full nightclub gradually over the course of a few hours. “Nice spot! We came for the 1$ oysters, which were mediocre, but the other food was good! All the sushi was presented really nicely and very fresh ingredients. The salmon tartar was really good. We also got the crispy maguro which was really good, like a fancy “sushi pizza” that a lot of places do. All of the maki looked yummy, just a bit on the smaller side as it’s more of a boutique restaurant.
They did have a $10 selection of wine online on the menu but in the restaurant they didn’t have that anymore, so I ended up getting a nice dry rose.
The decor inside is very nice, with a giant fake cherry tree, and some plants. Where they make the sushi it is fully open so it’s cool to get to see them out the ingredients together, and you get to see that it’s all prepared fresh.
Also most of this area is permit parking only, so I’d suggest taking the metro if you came here to avoid trying to park.“

Enjoyed the ambiance and style of the restaurant. Better than many of the commercialized chains. Staff was extremely friendly.
Burger was cooked perfectly. The one I ate was rather large. So, I expect to make a bit of a mess. The bun wasn't soggy and all the ingredients worked well for how big it was. Fries are good. Not the best, but definitely my style. The red pickle was a nice touch. I meant to ask how it was pickled, it had a sugary sweetness to it.
Would love to go back and try some of other burgers.“

“So, this review is a little different from most, because people often come to a place one time experience a good thing and drop a positive review. I on the other hand expect consistency and I am a little on the OCD side, especially when I travel. That just means I find the restaurants that I like and I have been known to eat the same meals two days in a row. One of the things that stands out immediately to me is that for the most part you have the same staff working dinner or evening shifts as you do the brunch on Saturday and Sunday. This makes for long days but it produces consistency. Timeliness and courtesy are number one for the ladies on the floor. Attention to detail is critical to the men on the cookline, as each plate comes out as an arrangement of food, not simply a pile of ingredients. I was in Montreal for a conference from Friday to Sunday so I was able to eat 2 dinners and 2 brunches, and I have to say they were quite exceptional. I do give the brunch a slight tip of the cap for being more consistent of the two meals and having the best consistency with the Big Brunch, the Americano, and the fresh squeezed juice. It is probably one of the best breakfast/brunches I have had since Verviers, Brussels in 2019. The Big Brunch consisted of fried sunny side up eggs, a sausage, fried potatoes with hollandaise, cubed fresh tomato, sourdough toast, fresh Americano, and fresh orange and grapefruit juice. The flavors work together to complement each other with the eggs having been lightly peppered by the chef and maybe fried in the salty fat from the sausage to give them the right amount of seasoning. Dinner the first day I had a beer and a ribeye prepared medium rare with pepper seasoning and a brown gravy accompanying the pureed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly. The next night I had the charcutier meat with sourdough, which was a nice assortment of the traditional fare one might find. It would have been nice to have found a smaller plate that include both meat and cheese. I did have a bottle of the California 2020 Elizabeth Spencer Cab and it paired well with everything, sometimes a little fruity and others a little spicy depending on how the notes hit the palette. Dinner was the same as the night before, but although the ribeye was ordered medium rare it came out more to medium. That was a little disappointing, but still satisfying in the end. To finish my meal I had the brownie with pecan crumble and sauce which finished off the bottle of Cab perfectly. This morning I had an amazing brunch again, and now I must say adieu as I head to the airport to return home.“

House cocktails, Sous Bois and Fleurs du Mal were nicely crafted and well presented.Very relaxed atmosphere on a Monday, wish the music was louder because it wasn't really memorable. One of the sinks was missing soap and lots of graffiti in the washroom. I know they want to support local artists but not really a fan of the works on display which were all the same style.“
