“A secret coffee shop under a church. Beautiful spot. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet. Nice place to hide, study, read. I loved the furniture and the big open space.
While we were there, a wedding was taking place in the church overhead. So we heard organ music and people walking down the aisle.
They sell a few pastries. We didn't have lunch while there, and I'd be curious to go back and try it. They also sell roseries and other catholic doodads.“

“I’ve been dreaming about visiting Luxe Blooms Flower Cafe since they opened, I finally drove over four hours to this little gem. It has such a unique concept, and I absolutely love the heart behind it. The drinks were fantastic — delicious, just as I’d imagined. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.
That said, there’s room for improvement in the upkeep of the space. While I love the idea and the vibe of the place, the cafe itself is starting to show some wear and tear. The pink floor could use a redo, as there’s some paint splatter on the laminate, and the pink chairs are worn. It’s clear a lot of love has been put into this place, but it’s starting to look a little tired. I’d love to see some attention given to refreshing the space so that it can match the beauty and charm of the drinks and the concept behind it.
Overall, it was a good experience and I would absolutely return“

“I have been going to this Bridgehead since my first child was an infant - and back then it was my "big thing" for the day and as a new mom it meant I met lovely people and even met other moms there. More than 12 years later - I walked in yesterday and was reminded of what a great location this is. The staff are always friendly and the lattes are always delicious. Thank you for being a community space with food and coffee in our city!“

“Gem of a place. I had the caramel latté: oat milk, decaf. Excellent. They had a couple of gluten free options. I had a coconut cranberry ball. Delish. My wife had the soya Chai and a spelt cookie. Very nice.
The main floor is a little cramped with not-so-comfortable seating. Upstairs, is easy chairs and sofa. Very pleasant. There is even seating on the veranda.
Well worth a visit.“

“Before Covid this was a Great neighborhood Cafe. Today will not visit or give my hard earn money to. Baristar's are insufferable know it alls. Heavy Cream is against their policy to give to customers because of health concerns. One of the Stupid reasons. Pompous attitude.

“Got to this coffee shop by accident, as i looked on GPS for one. Very clean, staff curtious, coffees excellent. If you are near by, it is worth a visit, while you bypass frenchised cookie-cutter shops. Starbucks stands no chance with artisan coffee shop like this.

“Recommended by our B&B Australis House, we had an excellent meal here with our two grandsons. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. The selection is large enough that children and adults can select great meals. Our server was amazing with our grandsons aged 9 and 11, suggesting options that they truly enjoyed.“

“I can't say it's cheap because nothing is cheap in Canada, but the place is worth it for a good breakfast for two people. The quality of the coffee is very good, the sandwiches are very very good and it has many options, you can choose a sauce and 3 garnishes, among which are tomato, lettuce, olives and others. Obviously even if it's in a refrigerator, they heat it up for you.
The place is very nice and the area is super quiet.
The staff is super friendly and considerate even though I don't speak French well. I will be back!“

“It's a pleasant spot in a quiet neighbourhood; I imagine most of the patrons are students and faculty of the university. I enjoy spending an hour or so with my coffee and a book. The staff are helpful: one day I had a spill and somebody gave me a towel to clean up my table, very thoughtful.“

“Vero's food is always delicious, creative, and looks amazing! I found myself dissapointed by other meal prep services in Ottawa, why does everyone struggle so much to cook tofu?? it is often bland and boring. However, Vero's tofu is superb and the other protein options are just as good! We look forward to the different options each week for meal delivery but also love that there are a few faves that come back. Their customer service has been amazing whenever we have reached out with any issues. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!“

“The staff is extremely nice at this location. I particularly have an issue with the Run Club that comes in every Saturday morning. they are extremely loud and inconsiderate about their surroundings. they will laugh and chat very loudly and block the entrance and walkway of the store which is a hazard and accessibility issue.“

“Alhamdulilah-.- First & Foremost this place (SPOT) is a city treasure and gem. Oh my goodness, the richness of an aura that comes from all their dishes. I love the chicken and beef Sooqaar, their lamb is excellent. The samosas are so delicious too. The pasta and rice mixed platters are also great with a choice of any drink.

“LOVE Moca Loca!! I have never actually been to the location but I order off Uber often.I usually get a variety of drinks and they have never once disappointed. The staff takes extra time packing everything up with plastic wrap so they can still fill it to the brim without it spilling.I almost always get the California wrap that is like a curried chicken with kale and raisins and and few nuts I believe. I absolutely love this.Soup is always good as well and they have a soup of the day. it’s great to have a rotation to try different things. Today I got a Carrot Mint soup and it’s liquid gold. Not a hearty soup but would have never tried it otherwise and the flavours are amazing. Staff took time to individually wrap and tape a few crackers for my soup as well.The product is fantastic but the dedicated staff there bring Moca Loca to the next level. As an anglo I try my best to use my French and the staff has always been extremely friendly on the phone and are happy to take a minute to figure out what I’m looking for, even with a language barrier. This kind of attitude that is rare in this neck of the woods. The attention to detail with their take away orders and maintaining and fantastic standard does not go unnoticed and has been consistent for the last couple of years.Thank you Moca Loca and keep doing what you’re doing ❤️“

“You can find the basics here like snacks, coffee, chips, muffins, etc... but what you probably don't know is this unassuming little convenience store attached to a gas station also has one of the best pizzas in Gatineau.I live in the Greater Toronto Area and good pizza is fairly easy to find. When I visit my daughter in Gatineau, it's not so easy. I find pizza here to be bland and mostly low quality ingredients at premium prices.This little place however, is different. The pizza is reasonably priced and quite better than any I've found so far in the area. Ingredients are fresh and they don't try to pretend you're getting a great deal by giving you a dozen 2 inch wide slices.Next time you want a pizza, give this place a try, you won't regret it. They're on Uber Eats as Pizza Iolo.
