“Food is pretty alright. My mileage varies for what exactly I like to eat here(you have to follow the seasonal menu). Cocktails are pretty fun - I personally like the ones where they add candy to the mix haha
I think there has only been one time where service was slow, but she luckily put it on the house since I had to go upstairs (I was seated in the basement with my friends) and grab her attention.
Fortunately, the games are pretty well organized and well-kept; I think every game I've played with my friends has had its pieces mostly in tact.
I also enjoyed the video gaming experience; nitpick: the games have no sound. Not a huge dealbreaker(especially since game sound might negatively add to the pub's noise levels) but just something to know.
Washrooms are great - I believe they are mostly gender neutral? Otherwise, they are at least well cleaned.“

“First time visitor on March 23, to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was happily booked up when I tried to make a reservation, so I was only able to secure a table at 5:15pm. I left a little note asking them to keep us in mind if there was a cancellation for a later spot, and they contacted me by email, text, and phone when a later table became available for 6:15pm. Very responsive and friendly staff. Our time at Soif was marvellous. The staff were friendly and extremely professional. Service was relaxed yet very polished. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine and took great care to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We had a flight of wine to start, followed by a beautiful bottle of white, and a flight of bubbles to end our evening. We shared a half cheese/half charcuterie platter that came with a mountain of crispy and delicious crostini, the latter being refilled without having to ask. Such a small but lovely touch. We also shared roasted Brussels sprouts, frites and aioli, a bison tartare, and grilled radicchio, that were all delicious. They surprised my friend with a little dessert wine and candle to acknowledge her birthday, which was so kind and thoughtful. I have not a single critique. The team here works like a well-oiled machine. No one seemed frantic or rushed. It was a lovely evening. I (we) will definitely be back. Santé!“

“We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki plates through Uber Eats and when the order was delivered, there was only 1 plate in the bag. I called the restaurant immediately since the bag had been sealed and not tampered with so it was clear that the restaurant messed up. The restaurant offered to make another plate but unfortunately they don't have their own delivery drivers so we had to drive to them and pick up the other plate. Once we got there, the owner was very apologetic and offered us a free item from their menu and a dessert. This is an example of good customer service. I get that mistakes happen but it's how a business handles their mistakes that makes all the difference. This was handled very well, in my opinion and we will order from Oh My Grill again in the future. By the way, the food was excellent! I have to take the review down to 4 stars because of the fact that we had to drive to pick up the corrected order but otherwise it would have been 5 stars.“

“The space is pretty basic and not especially inviting, but the food more than makes up for it. Everything I ordered was fresh and full of flavor, with the wontons being a highlight. It’s a small operation with just a couple of people running things, so it can get busy and service may be slow at times—but if you’re patient, it’s definitely worth it for the quality of the food.“

“Je suis allé dîner avec des collègues mardi midi et c'était juste trop bon ! J'ai commandé le tacos de morue avec frites, c'était absolument délicieux. Une de mes collègues a pris la salade, boucane au au saumon fumé et l'assiette était sublime, et c'était très délicieux . Toute notre gang était satisfaite de leur plats ! Et que dire de la présentation!! et ce n'est pas juste beau, c'est excellent. La serveuse était super gentille, et on a pas attendu longtemps pour nos plats. ils ont une belle petite terrasse à l'ombre et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. je vais y retourner certainement.“

“I've been coming here since it opened over 10 years ago or so, it's my go to spot when life gets busy! The variety of food here is incredible, there’s always something for whatever my teen or I am craving. Every single dish I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. It’s such a lifesaver on those days when I don’t have the time or energy to cook but still want something that feels homemade and satisfying.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. The owner, Mario, is an absolute sweetheart, he is so welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about his customers. You can feel the passion and heart that goes into everything here.
If you’re looking for quality food, great variety, and a warm, friendly atmosphere, this is the place. I can’t recommend it enough.“

“It was our first time trying tomo and it completely exceeded our expectations.The quality and freshness of every dish was good. Lots of flavour. The staff took the time to explain each ingredient when we asked and they told us where the fish was sourced from and what made every course special. The cocktails and wine pairing were also very good and service was top tier. Chef Hikaru went out of his way to connect with us using a translator device which let him understand u. He made us feel welcomed and completely part of the experience. 10/10 will be back!“

We decided to try it for dinner and we were so happy we did! The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely delicious food. We tried the butter chicken (served with rice and salad), fresh naan, and both the chicken and beef samosas.
Again, all of it was outstanding! The naan bread was a perfect compliment to the butter chicken. The chicken samosa was also a favourite.
Highly recommend if you are walking through the area!“

Note: You order at the bar and the server brings it to you at your table. I recommend making the customer wait at the bar until the order is ready - simply put, when its busy the staff sometimes takes longer to bring the order at the table.“

“Le Foubrac est sans aucun doute mon bistro de quartier préféré à Gatineau. Si vous aimez les burgers, c’est LA place à découvrir. Dès qu’on entre, l’ambiance est chaleureuse, conviviale et profondément humaine. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. L’équipe est attentionnée du début à la fin, que ce soit les hôtesses, les serveurs ou même en cuisine, tout le monde contribue à créer une expérience agréable. Nathalie et Walter, les propriétaires, prennent également toujours le temps d’échanger avec les clients, ce qui ajoute une belle touche personnalisée. La nourriture est tout simplement excellente, les burgers sont savoureux et de grande qualité. C’est le genre d’endroit où l’on a envie de revenir… et c’est exactement ce que je fais ! “Hands down one of the best all you can eat sushi places I’ve ever tried in Ottawa. The sushi was incredibly fresh, tasted great and came in so much variety. The place was clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. The washrooms are also clean and well maintained. Everything about the experience was amazing, I would definitely recommend this place for all you can eat. Best menu items for me were the maki rolls, the salmon sashimi and the udon noodles. They use papers instead of iPads and a cute robot sometimes delivers the food.“
