“Just had the pleasure of stopping by Pizza Italie on an impromptu walk with my children. We decided to stop in and order a large Pepperoni pizza as a very late lunch to split amongst ourselves. The pizza is a standard style, simple and done quite well. The crust has a nice flavor, but I do wish it were a little more well done. A parbake would make it the right amount of crispy and solid through to the middle of base. The sauce is delicious, well seasoned and bursting with the flavor of the tomato and some nice herbs and spices. The cheese is definitely quality, and melts nicely, and has a nice soft flavor. The cup and char Pepperoni is very good, and tastes magnificent, alone or with the slice. Definitely will be returning!“

“We had the burrata as a starter. Generous portion and delicious. We had pizzas and spaghetti with meatballs for mains. The pizzas were great. The spaghetti not as much, but it's ok. For dessert, we had the panna cotta, the tiramisu and the tartufo. The three of them were great. Authentic Italian food in a beautiful neighbourhood.“

“I visited this pizzeria recently and ordered the GIANNI while my friend had the POMPEI. Both pizzas were excellent featuring a nice thin crust and quality ingredients. “I love Carlo's Pizza, it's a good, solid pizza. This isn't a sit down place, it's take out. The workers are always so kind, they have deals based on what you order. The food is a good speed and a decent price. I personally like their poutine. The deals they have for the middle school students are very sweet.“

Honestly the place looks pretty sketchy at 12:30am on a Sunday morning, but probably the best pizza I've had in years, maybe ever. I grew up in this little town, and we always had an abundance of pizza places. But it wasn't until my adulthood that I discovered this uncut gem. Tucked away in a small building, on some side street, but churning out the best pizza pies this side of the Ottawa river.

If you're a person of refined taste, then I recommend the classic Hawaiian. In my opinion, the best Hawaiian pizza out there.“
