“It's always a pleasure to go to this restaurant. I had made a reservation for 6 people including my 95 year old mother. The welcome is warm, the hostess ensures that the table suits us. It was Mélanie who served us with her smile. Everything is good shrimp, the seafood pot-en-pot. My mother ordered maple salmon and the carrot cake dessert. Thanks again and see you again in a month“

“We were visiting Q.C. for the week and stumbled upon this place while planing out meals for the week. when we walked in (Yesterday), we were met with a divine cozy atmosphere and funny and welcoming staff. Our server was an absolute delight, and he made an equisite meal a delightfully entertaining exquisite meal! He was friendly and funny and even got the little one at the table next to us to stop crying and even start laughing! As an aside, we started with Foie Gras, that was served with ginger bread. It was, in the correct words of our server, "The Champagne of Food". It was amazing. my partner had the cassoulet with a brazed rabbit leg - it was amazing. I had the rabbit pot pie, which was just as good! The Salted Honey Pie was for dessert at the recommendation of our server, and he was absolutely correct in this suggestion! Overall, this was the best meal we have had in Q.C., both in food quality and flavor and overall experience. I would recommend this place to any person looking for a fun night enjoying great food!“

“This restaurant is connected to the Quebec City Marriott Downtown. Had a wonderful meal of a shared beet salad, with goat cheese and salty, candied walnuts, followed by duck confit that was as decadent as you’d want it to be, served with thinly sliced, semi-crispy potatoes. My wife had a Reuben that was grilled to perfection on marble rye and curry coleslaw. As we’re from New Jersey USA, coming across an exquisite Reuben outside of a Jersey diner is a wonderful discovery. We also tried three of their menu gin drinks, none of which were too sweet. I fine meal.“

“J'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner deux jours au magnifique Hôtel Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, et ma soirée du samedi 2 Mars au Restaurant Chaplain restera gravée dans ma mémoire. Je tiens à exprimer ma gratitude envers M. Eric, le Manager, pour son accueil exceptionnellement chaleureux et professionnel. Un grand merci également à Caroline, notre serveuse attentive, qui a veillé sur nous tout au long de la soirée et nous a guidés dans notre choix du Menu Signature. L'expérience culinaire était tout simplement divine, sublimée par une ambiance des plus agréables. Pour couronner le tout, notre soirée s'est achevée par des digestifs au Bar 1608, ajoutant une note parfaite à notre expérience mémorable. “Great time with our server Emerick, he is really very nice and gave us really good service. The food was really good, I tried the new salmon, goat cheese, pecan and maple tartare. It's good but I expected to have pieces of pecan in the tartare. There was only a large piece on top and it didn't taste like pecans although the taste was good. I'm not a fan of goat cheese and I was pleasantly surprised. This is one of the tartares that I won't hesitate to try again.“
