“I have been going to Cafe Souvenir for decades. It has always been consistently great even when the ownership changed a few times. While the former concept was fantastic with the passport menu and more choices than you could ever try, I love this current ownership and iteration of the cafe and menu. It’s owner run, so they know what they’re doing and the attention to detail is there. Warm milk with your coffee, omelettes brought straight from the pan, to name a few details I appreciate. They know how to cook; French from France style. So many restaurants in Montreal have gone up in price and down in value. Not Cafe Souvenir! They are doing it well and I highly recommend them. Great, friendly service. One of my regular brunch places.“

The service was excellent, the staff was super nice, and we got our food very fast after ordering. My only ick is where we were seated. The table is way too low compared to the bench that it made it a bit uncomfortable to eat.“

“This is a warm and charming brunch place. We love the decor all over the restaurant featuring the marine lifestyle of Ile de Madelaine. Bagel Ect, still a gem! They served up one of the best brunches we've had in Montreal. I ordered the classic Benedictine Eggs Benedict—perfectly poached eggs, rich and velvety hollandaise, all on a fresh, fluffy base. My partner had the Romanov, a version with lox, which was equally delicious—the smoked salmon was silky and flavorful without overpowering the dish. A special shoutout to their sautéed potatoes—crispy, well-seasoned, and the ideal companion to our meals. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and food done right. Forgot to mention, thier latte are perfect...Highly recommended!“

“We were greeted with a warm smile. The professionalism of the staff really stood out, particularly Garo and Yannick, who went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable.

The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the food.

Garo and Yannick were exceptionally attentive, making sure our coffee cups were never empty and checking in on us just the right amount.

“I had to wait outside for a bit at 10:15, but there was coffee to warm up and they took our names down. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was cool, the employees were friendly and I really liked my eggs benedict with salmon gravlax. I'm going to have to go back because I was hesitating between four different options!“

“My first experience with a French breakfast. The manager was very helpful in helping us decide what to order, the recommendations were on par and the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. “Went there on Friday, November 8th at about 8:45 in the morning and had Greek yogurt fruit bowl. Wildly huge portions! Fruit was very fresh, poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Staff provides excellent service and is always on top of refilling coffee and water. Highly recommend!“

I enjoyed the Food I had a Halloumi-chorizo sausage Skillet they only thing i could say wrong is they used a Dried Chirizo sausage for the Skillet. Like dried Landjager sausage which should not be used for this. But it was still filling and tasty love the Potatoes wedge and Hollandiase sauce“
