“✨ Samedi soir inoubliable ✨ Après un concert intimiste Candlelight au 9e, j’ai poursuivi la soirée au réputé Café Ferreira, une véritable institution portugaise au cœur de Montréal. Dès l’entrée, les effluves envoûtants de la cuisine m’ont séduite. Service impeccable, rapidité et fraîcheur irréprochable. 🌊 En entrée, des huîtres sur glace d’une fraîcheur exquise, relevées d’une mignonnette au vinaigre vieilli : un pur délice marin. 🍲 En plat principal, la bouillabaisse aux poissons et fruits de mer — généreuse, riche en saveurs, et tout simplement succulente. J’ai savouré chaque bouchée avec gratitude. 🍮 Et pour clore cette expérience : le pastel de nata maison accompagné de glace… une douceur portugaise qui a parfaitement scellé cette soirée magique. “From the moment I walked through the door, I understood why Joe Beef is considered one of Montreal's culinary icons. The ambiance is warm, quaint, charming, and intimate, the kind of place that immediately makes you feel as though you're about to experience something truly special.

The service was exceptional. Every member of the team was attentive, genuinely enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable. As each dish arrived, every ingredient, preparation, and flavour combination was thoughtfully explained, adding another layer to the experience.

I shared with my server that I had come on the recommendation of a CWC, French-trained chef, who insisted that if I was visiting Montreal, Joe Beef was an absolute must. I told him I wasn't simply looking for dinner, I was there for a culinary experience. When he offered to curate my meal, I happily placed myself in his hands. It was, without question, one of the greatest dining experiences of my life.

Every course was extraordinary. The oysters were impeccably fresh. The foie gras was luxurious and unforgettable. The sweetbreads were nothing short of divine. Every bite showcased remarkable creativity, flawless execution, and bold yet beautifully balanced flavours. This wasn't just a meal, it was a celebration of exceptional ingredients and culinary craftsmanship.

As someone who actively seeks out memorable food experiences, Joe Beef has earned a permanent place at the very top of my list. It exceeded every expectation I had imagined and then some.

“J'ai été souper hier avec une amie on a pris une entrée à partager à deux c'était vraiment wow et délicieux crevettes frites bouchée de morues panées tatami au thon pieuvre huîtres tout était très goûteux! Le fish n chips panko était crispy et vraiment succulent l'autre personne à commandé un steak frites très tendre elle a adoré. le service était très bien et rapide et l atmosphère géniale on étaient sur la terrasse il y avait un chansonnier et cela a contribué à rendre notre expérience des plus agréable ! It was so fresh and flavourful we were amazed how well the seabass, octopus, giant shrimp and cod were cooked to perfection and served with a smile to make sure we had properly transferred the food from plater to dish. We highly recommend Petros, we were super impressed with the quality, quantity and great service. Our go to place to dine.“
