She came around and asked if I wanted more sauce for my sandwich. She took the time to explain the history and Fall River's role in Chow Mein. Her restaurant has been named as one of the top 25 in the country! They offer other Chinese dishes but the Chow Mein Sandwiches are where it's at! Get them while you can!“

“We Ordered dinner from China Gourmet tonight through Grubhub. When my dinner was delivered I realized I had accidentally ordered the wrong item through the Grubhub app. I called the restaurant to ask if I could bring back the wrong item for the correct item. Not only did they tell me to keep the incorrect item, but to stay home and they would deliver an entire complimentary meal of the correct item as a courtesy. Not only great food but great customer service !“

“Chong Qing's atmosphere reminds me of those old school, hole-in-the-wall, what you see in the movies type.

The service was impeccable. Everything came out so fast and we ordered many dishes!

“The food was so good, I started speaking Chinese! ? I was very happy that they were open late (they closed at 10:30 on this Friday). I had General Tsao's Chicken and I can vouch for it. It is certainly the good kind. I went in 10 minutes before closing and they prepared the order no problem. I study Mandarin in my spare time so I figured it was a good time to test out my chops. They understood what I said. A miracle. And they said my Mandarin was pretty good and it upped my confidence in my speaking ability, so I had to give them a honest review: 太好吃了 ? Too good!

And very friendly staff not upset at all at my late ordering, but happy I ordered. I appreciate you for being open this late. I hadn't eaten all day.

Should also mention the atmosphere. Very nice with plenty of tables for a sit-in meal with your family and friends. Colorful. Comfortable. Very very clean.

Parking: The place is located in a large shopping plaza. It is on the leftmost side of the plaza (looking towards the shops from the road). To be clear, it's on the opposite end from the movie theater. It's right near the big department store. I think the store is Big Lots.“

“Last night I ordered delivery from And they were very good. sides so I ordered the Jimbo fried shrimp for both appetizers. The chicken chow mein was excellent. The fried rice that came with it was fresh not like other Chinese restaurants where they just hold onto the old rice until it’s all gone was really surprised how this fried rice was. They use the noodles I believe from the Fall River noodle Company and they were very good. My only complaint was the jumbo freight room. It was coded in dough and was not very good cause you took a bite and you got a big hunk of bread in your mouth fried bread to change the recipe for fried shrimp. But I will, go there again or something different next time and I will be leaving a report for you. The only reason I gave four stars overall is because of the fried shrimp. I hope they change that.“

“This food is probably the most authentic Chinese Food in the city. Not only was it clean when I walked in the very kind cook was very nice. He cooked the food right in front of me. And very relaxing Chinese culture music was playing in the back while I waited. :) The lady who answered the phone was also very kind. “I’m a Regular client and I’ve been noticing that the rice lately has a weird odor smells like when you leave the rice in a pot for days and it Gets moldy and it tasted the same I thought maybe it was just me but it tasted really bad. It’s not the first time this occurred a lot lately and it’s sad because it’s one of my favorite places to eat. Maybe it’s time to look for a new place.?“

“To everyone buying boxes and finding them rancid. If you aren't aware, they had a fire years back. They couldn't replace the friers with high temp ones like they had. This caused them to change oil that goes bad quicker. They probably should have updated their boxes with shorter use by date. Luckily for me, I live nearby and by bags of noodles fresh and binge eat chow mein and use all the noodles before they go bad. But this is the reason why originally they never had a problem with selling the boxes in stores, but now they do. Did the higher heat friers cause the fire, and it was a necessary regulation the UL limits the temp?“
