“I put a 2-star for service. The reason I put 2 stars for service is because when paying with my card the cashier told me I was declining. I know I gave her the right zip code. So instead of double-checking if the zip code I gave her was what I said she told me it was wrong. I then double-checked my account and I gave her the right zip code. She was putting the wrong one in and proceeded to say the wrong one back to me. They need to make sure they are correct before telling the customer's their cards are declining.“

“This was our first time dining at Mona Lisa, and def will return. It has a hip vibe upon entry, with some pulsing beats in the background. Our party of 6 includes hard of hearing friends, so this was a little bit of a challenge, but there was good energy in the dining room. Service was very attentive and the menu is eclectic. It is mostly Italian, with additional flair from Puerto Rico and Sushi. I am keto and a friend has a gluten allergy — not a problem. The kitchen accommodated us beautifully. My salmon with secret sauce was delish. The portions are very generous (you might have lunch for tomorrow). There were at least two birthday celebrations that night. Fun place to celebrate. “I’ve been here a few times for lunch, and it never disappoints. Most of the time I order the chicken parm sandwich and fries. It’s always been good, every time I’ve ordered it.
They have a pretty extensive menu of Italian-American style food. A lot of pasta, sandwiches, pizza, etc. I’d never tried the pasta, but we’ve ordered pizza before, and it’s pretty good.
Whatever I’ve ever ordered from here, no matter what, it always comes out piping-hot, which is great.
The chicken parm sandwich was no exception, the super crispy chicken cutlet was crispy on the outside, and tender and flavorful inside. It held up very well to the lava hot marinara sauce it was covered with, and the mozzarella cheese-pull was the best. This place is definitely in my rotation of chicken parm sandwich spots.
The inside of the restaurant has weird decor. I guess it’s supposed to look like somebody’s grandmothers living room. I guess it does sort of. There’s a bunch of random old photos and items on the wall that makes it look dated.
The food is usually really good though, and I will definitely be back for more chicken parms.“
