“I love FRT. The bartenders are always friendly. The owner Donna is always there, cooking in the kitchen and interacting with the customers. “Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“We were visitors in the area and we loved T's so much that we went there for breakfast two days in a row! The pancakes were some of the best I've had at a breakfast place. I recommend the Little Rhody, it's a great value for the price and you get pancakes, eggs, home fries and a breakfast meat - all delicious! The service was exceptional both times we visited. The atmosphere was very homey and inviting. We'll definitely be back when we visit the area again.“

“There are many excellent and good restaurants in Warwick RI. They all have their own way of distinguishing themselves from one another, which is one of the reasons that helps them keep their customers coming back. What does it for me with Cork and Rye is the service is top notch and their food is also excellent. I have a difficult time figuring out what to order because pretty much everything on their menu seems like something I would want to try out. I really don't think you can make a bad selection because the food is excellent and they put their own unique twist to it so ordering meatloaf at Cork and Rye wont be the same as if you ordered meatloaf at one of the other great restaurants in the area. The service from the staff and bar is also excellent!! I would say make a reservation a day or two before you want to go and don't be afraid to sit and eat at the bar. Also, try one of their appetizers while you are there.“
