“We ate here while staying at an Airbnb for a weekend. This food was absolutely incredible!! The pairings of the meals are amazing! Also make sure you try the hash. It is to die for. The staff were also friendly and the environment gives off small business coziness that is unlike that of big chain restaurants.“

“The piadina are amazing along with the homemade pasta and prepared items. The Portsmouth store is much easier to access than Middletown (parking) and the staff are great. I would give 5 stars if they were open til at least 5:30pm weeknights. It’s hard to get there by 5pm and I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from those of us wanting to grab dinner on the way home from work.“

“Staff here so we super nice. They know my coffee and always ask me if I want my usual. I will go here again. They are apologetic if anything ever happens to register and if something is down. They are always willing to treat you with a smile and ask you how your day is while you wait while they make your coffee.“

“Lovely outdoor ambiance, we sat on the corner outside and watched the town wake up. Subtle queer vibes before 8am. Then the line got long. Jasmine green tea was pretty good (7/10) We really liked the decaf coffee (9/10) what a treat. The regular coffee was not noteworthy, but fine. Nitro’s is much better. Great breakfast sandwich, grab and go ready!“

“A sweet little place with tons of delicious fancy pastry options! I was particularly taken with the number of almond pastries, cakes, etc. The picnic theme is cute - they sell fancy picnic baskets and will pack them with goodies for you (presumably a nice idea in the spring rather than in the snow like when we visited!).“

“Nice place. Theirs job is really coffee i belived :) You can see them roasting and packaging there. Prices are fair. It has a great coffee smell. There are tables inside and outside if you want to hang out. You can buy their own products and packaged coffees. I bought a latte, the coffee was really fresh. I think it has a few awards too. An enjoyable stop on the road :))“

“We were vacationing in Newport from Wisconsin and stopped in at Cappy’s. Sue the bartender was friendly and a wonderful bartender. The owner Joe, what can I say….what a guy! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. Nice local establishment with friendly customers and bartenders. We had Dan as a bartender too and he was a friendly, great guy! “Steph and the team at scratch were SUPERB! Our catering order was perfect (tho we were sad the croissant machine was down) every thing was piping hot (or nice an cool). Everything was SOOO good. Ordering was easy, Steph ensured we had a great variety and enough to feed the post-wedding crowd. We did have breakfast here and it was stellar! Any event you need catered, be sure to check Steph and the team out. You will, NOT be disappointed!“

“Went in expecting all bakery items l and was blown away by the amazing Spanish food! I have never had Spanish food that was that tender and fresh, I own bomb smoothies in Johnston ri and the name speaks for itself so I had to try their smoothie and it was delicious! Then we couldn’t leave without trying it all we took cupcakes and an ice cream cookie sandwich to go and it was all amazing! There should be a line out the door at this place and it was by far the cleanest place I’ve ever been to. We will be back anytime we want Spanish food this is our new spot!!! (Providence location)“

Been here a couple times and always have good food. This time I got the Birdie Mae vegan burger bowl. My gf got the Whassuppy burger but she kept eating mine because it was so tasty. Really good flavor and seemed very healthy, especially as the bowl. The smoothies we asked to get with no added sweetner, and they were kinda watery. I think any fruit smoothie always should have a base of banana, but ours I think was just fruit and ice and-- vegans beware, this wasn't listed on the online menu, but on the website menu it says it comes with yogurt. I got mine with soy milk thinking that would make it vegan; I didn't taste yogurt but it might have been there.“

“Brought my children here on a whim today to grab something to-go. We got a sub, rice bowl, pita chips w/hummus, and falafel. The food was outstanding. The best falafel I’ve ever had. The portions were large, each dish easily big enough for 2. The service was top notch, I didn’t catch his name, I’m assuming the owner, could not have been more friendly. We will definitely be back!“
