“I visited about a week ago to grab food quickly before boarding my cruise. I was in a hurry because the cruise boarded soon, and I let them know. Despite being a bit short-staffed, they were very understanding and got me my food very quickly. Also, the fries are delicious! Thank you for being so patient and understanding.“

“Went with my son last week for the first time and had the muscles and chicken wings, both of which were incredible. We brought home the mac and cheese, dumplings and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was fantastic. we agreed it is the best restaurant around. I went again tonight with my husband. We had the friend oyster appetizer special and filet, both of which were incredible. Debbie was our waitress, and she was absolutely fantastic. So friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! The street corn ravioli was out of this world. I also tried the peach & prosciutto bruschetta which was savory & sweet and just sooo good. I kept seeing this Bloody Mary type of cocktail going out so I had to order one. This drink was AMAZING. It was called “Caprese my name” which consisted of vodka, basil, tomato and get this…pasta water! Serve in a martini glass with a little mozzarella ball garnish. We chose The Spruce Car, (as opposed to the murder mystery) which is aptly named, as it's filled with rich, warm woods. The cozy lighting & up-scale, but not pretentious, decor created the perfect ambiance for a romantic birthday. Dinner service was nothing short of wonderful. Our server, Maddie, was friendly, beautiful, and attentive. Both of our dinners were delicious and the cocktails were perfect. More locals should enjoy the Bellevue Grand. It's worth every penny.“

“Had to try this establishment as I’ve heard great things. Let it be known, there oven is gas and I do prefer wood fired, however the dough was good enough to almost make up for it. Surprisingly, it appears to be a Neopolitan pizza, however the pizza had a nice crisp to the crust, not huge, just enough to not make it a soft typical Neopolitan style pizza. So credit to them for being different and the crust was also soft and light, very nice combination. Btw, we opted for a simple Margherita, which is a baseline for judging any Neopolitan style pizza. All in all, we would definitely go back.“

“Absolutely great food and service. Dined last Saturday evening with two of our teen and preteen grandchildren. All of us enjoyed our meals and the service was on point. This next point deserves mentioning as it speaks to the culture of the establishment: When my granddaughter became ill (NOT food related), the manager came over immediately to help comfort her… she brought hot tea and took her to more private quarters to relax until her discomfort passed. We were impressed and remain grateful for the compassion and level of care exhibited. We will continue to visit again and again in the future. Many thanks!!!“

“Went with a party of four and all of our meals were exceptional. Without exaggeration, this was one of the top three best meals I've had. Went for the basics starting with shrimp cocktail (crisp, flavorful, fresh) then filet mignon (perfectly seared) with exceptional texture and taste considering I have it medium/well which can be a challenge. Finished it up with chocolate ganache which was surprisingly light and had a crisped marshmallow line alongside (ridiculously good). I know the general ratings from the majority are only about a 3, but that's why we dine in these establishments off season, when proper attention can be paid without the waves of whiny tourists that distract.
