Five stars for the staff who is always so gracious and lovely, minus the one time I was taken aback by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of one of the members. I hope that due to the poor choice of this staff member, that the members’misbehavior doesn’t reflect upon the teams’ sweet and wholesome image.“

“Menu is full of good food for everyone to please. The Shamrock pizza and mango habanero wings were delicious. Waitress was great. Next time I will be around the neighborhood I will make sure to try their big menu loaded with good tasting food. Atmosphere was as a country-pub-restaurant with plenty of rooms for dinning.“

We recently tried the new breakfast menu, and our initial impression is that the menu is certainly ambitious, but some of the menu items We’re a *bit* on the heavy side for breakfast. Nonetheless, it’s certainly a unique experience, which seems to be what they aim for.

I highly recommend trying the breakfast items, but for some it might be a *bit* too fancy...

The stars should speak for themselves, but here is the more in-depth explanation:

It’s absolutely clear that the owners of this establishment invest a profound amount of time and energy into training and MENTORING their staff and holding them to a superb standard of service and of course attention to detail.

The front of the house we staff, from the host or hostess, to the wait staff and the bussers: every single interaction is Matt with professional courtesy and in many cases accommodation. The presentation of the order is always done with precision and accuracy, which I appreciate very much.

The products: whether it’s a quick sandwich for lunch or at dinner spread out over a couple of hours, each plate is prepared again, with intensive care and of course, attention to detail.

I have been coming here since they have open, but I have recently become a regular and I have started coming in here for lunch. I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the bartenders and the various weight staff, and from what I can gather there is a very good relationship between the owners and those whom they employ. Is also clear to me that there is a great deal of time and attention devoted to their training in the maintaining of very high excellent standards of service and conduct and professionalism.

It is with great pleasure that I bestow my highest endorsement professional and dedicated staff here at chophouse grill. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service and presentation I’m such a finally crafted product, as well as the mentoring that goes into it.

The only true recommendation that I have would be to consider tablecloths for the dinner to “soften” the room/atmosphere. I am usually in there for lunchtime, which is a quick and informal affair. Most of the tables seat four; table cloths would be a nice touch and make the setting that more intimate.

Enjoyed the Lobster Roll, homemade chips, wine and key lime cheesecake! Our waitress was super attentive and efficient. Prices are fair, if you plan to have more than one glass of wine...in some cases it's more cost efficient to buy the bottle! There is a takeout window and a Tiki Bar on George's beach. Next time, we plan to stay there for the day! Great views of all the boats made for a really wonderful day.“

“What a fantastic dining experience my family had tonight. Cocktails were superb, my rare tuna tacos were not only the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, it was one of the top 3 meals I’ve ever had. My wife had the rib eye melt which was equally as delicious, and my daughter loved her Mac & cheese and green beans. I started with white chowder which is typically good no matter where you get it in New England, but there’s was excellent. As good as the food was, it was the service from Alexa that made it so memorable. She was friendly and accommodating like any server would or should be, but she went beyond that making us feel like friends and family. Extra kudos to her for being a superstar. All in all, this was a 10+ dining experience even though the best is 5. Back 40 and their sister restaurants are all the best that RI has to offer.“

“I've been dreaming about a D'Angelo's steak and cheese grinder with extra cheese and extra mushrooms for the last 2 weeks. I'm coming to Rhode Island from Florida for a visit. I was raised in Rhode island. we do not have D'Angelo's or anything close to it around where I live now. “We had a lovely dinner with my wife, sister, and brother-in -law. We ordered the delicious out of this world garlic bread tower as one of our three appetizers. The Brussels sprouts and the crab and asparagus were also very tasty. My short rib ravioli entree was served with lots of gravy - perfect for the garlic bread. The others had the pork schnitzel, the grilled chicken risotto, and the sirloin steak sandwich. Lots of smiles as our entrees disappeared. We were on the beautiful Narragansett room which has two tables. It was nice to have dinner in a quiet place. Our server, Ivana, was excellent providing prompt and friendly service. We highly recommend the General Stanton Inn.“

“I have lived in Charlestown for over 35 years. This used to be a good place to order food but not lately. I have had numerous bad experiences lately. Tonight I placed an order for 2 hamburgers and a Philly steak for delivery. The order was placed at 5, I was told it would be 45 minutes. The driver showed up at 7. The food is cold, the French fries are soggy, the lettuce is black and wilted. This is my last orderfor them and I live a half mile away.“
