“I took my wife there today for lunch for the first time. We made the 30-minute trek and we were not disappointed. I had Bluto's Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the Chickpea Wrap. OUTSTANDING! I would recommend to anyone looking for a good Vegan spot 👍”

“We had another wonderful meal at The Food Shack tonight. My dad and I shared the nachos which were superb and my daughter enjoyed her rice bowl. And don’t forget a side of plantains! Also they serve local beer now which is a bonus. You need to eat here!”

The service was good and the staff very friendly.

The chicken quality was excellent, but I would say for me it’s over seasoned and that makes the outside breading hard and somewhat dry. You can overcome this by adding more Dave’s sauce and pickles, but overall it wasn’t anything super special.

Fries are a bit boring, just basic crinkle fries with some kind of old bay seasoning.

For me it doesn’t rank above many other main stream Chicken shops. I Would not make a special trip for it, but would go back again.”

The food, the scratch made fettuccine was perfectly cooked and coated with the hearty bolognese full of flavor, the eggplant app was mouthwatering and the Gorgonzola dip w/ garlic bread was incredible- they should bottle the stuff! The atmosphere was inviting and full of locals who were eager to share their recommendations! 10/10 will be back!”

“The piadina are amazing along with the homemade pasta and prepared items. The Portsmouth store is much easier to access than Middletown (parking) and the staff are great. I would give 5 stars if they were open til at least 5:30pm weeknights. It’s hard to get there by 5pm and I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from those of us wanting to grab dinner on the way home from work.”

“We love The Homemade factory! My fiancée and I are obsessed with it, from the atmosphere to the staff to the food it is all top notch and quality. The shrimp tempura rolls are amazing, the tuna is always fresh and tasty and the tamago!!!!”

“If you’re anywhere near Middletown RI, you have to check out Chester’s Pizza! The pizza is incredible, perfectly cooked, loaded with flavor, and hands down some of the best we’ve had.

The staff is awesome and super welcoming. Dave, the owner, is so down to earth and genuinely made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You can tell they really care about their customers and the experience they provide.

To top it all off, they have free to play arcade games like Galaga and Pacman!

“On a recent trip to Middletown, Rhode Island, my family made a return visit to the Coddington Brewery. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable seating and a nice bar area. Pictured is the Turkey Platter which has all the flavors of a home Thanksgiving meal. Also pictured is the Roast Beef Club; delicious! Any of the burgers and sandwiches would be a good choice and there are more formal type dinners offered. It being a brewery, there is always a nice selection of beer. Try this place; you’ll like it and want to go back.”

“Great hospitality! We went to Mizu for the first time this week for my daughters 8th birthday and we had our 1 1/2 year old with us. Our hibachi chef, Stephen, was so awesome with both of the girls and even though our little one is super shy she ended up finding a bestie in Stephen. “The Power of Juice is an incredible place. They have many magical juices that can make you feel better instantly. They have essential oils that help with sinuses and also have a magical soda water that can help with headaches/migraines and much much more!The staff at Power of Juice is incredible, I have been in a few times now not feeling well at all and each staff member always took the time to recommend something to help with how I was feeling and I never felt rushed, one of which days was Christmas Eve the store was slammed and the staff member didn’t let that get in the way from taking me over to show me a new essential oil they just got in to help with my massive sinus headache. Power of juice is now my go to place for a pick me up juice or if I need something for when I’m not feeling well, I now try this before taking over the counter medicine.”

“So so good! It’s a must go if you are anywhere in the area. We were heading out of Newport after a walk at the cliffs, and the sign caught our eye. Every sandwich we had was fresh and amazingly good! Fun, unique, and creative sandwiches, plus plenty of tried and true traditional sandwiches for those picky eaters. Staff was helpful and so pleasant. We can’t say enough good things. Just go, you won’t be disappointed!”

Me and my family have ordered food from here for years and we were excited when we heard new owners were taking it over. Becky’s is such a treasure here - real smoky bbq in RI. We haven’t been able to try since the reopening until now and I’m happy to say our expectations for excellence were met. Stop at Bagel Boys❣️❣️ This is a big, fat , chewy, warm, delicious bagel —and we arrived right before they closed and the bagels were still so chewy and so delicious. So much flavor! And they have all the crazy flavors that people like, but I just went for a plain and also for a sunflower bagel and —my goodness —they were just sublime!!!!!!!”
